The woman in the beginning is the guy's wife, she was worried that something bad happens to him. The reason the CO was holding a phone was because he's been getting texts from the guy's wife to convince him to stay. CO was trying to persuade the guy to stay behind with his wife.

the guns that they used in the episodes warrior is if i am correct but if im not someone else can tell you otherwise but the guns they have are real guns but they are just using blanks or they could be using rounds from training called Simunitions

Thank you again! As for your question, yes and no. I've been in training and done scenarios in the Marines where we used various tactics and formations, but the reason I also said no is because I was never in a combat situation so there may be several formations and tactics, I am not familiar with
