I just by accident stumbled onto Vernons book in the goodwill for pennies Psychio-PIctography read it like no tomorrow if it was any of his other books I would not picked it up most likley because the title sounded cool and interesting. The book felt like liquid light it was not jesus or god pushed down my throat it was very metaphysical with hints of this higher self I could immediately put the teachings to use and became happier. Thanks for supplying this content I have read almost every book on these topics, historic and present day and have never heard such depth and insight while being practical the teachings are something I have never never heard before and so valuable how did this man aquire this wisdom this is an incredible moment thanks for having these talks with Vernon the work you have put into this is so appreciated this work will touch my life but so many lives though what you have provided.

Thank you for taking the time to write of your experience. Vernon Howard was quite iconoclastic in his approach, cutting through all the bullshit. We need people like that from time to time. Howard had read widely, distilling the wisdom of both the West and the East including the teachings of J. Krishnamurti and George Gurdjieff. All the very best to you.

This teaching is contradictory to many of the other teachings on this channel. It speaks against agency while most of the others buff up agency. What would be the right teaching? If there are many contradictions? Often more content is not necessarily better if it gets confusing.

Thank you for your comment. With respect, I don’t think Howard’s message is contradictory. I am not sure what you mean by “agency” but most of the videos I’ve uploaded speak of God as the life principle in us, as a power-not-oneself that manifests itself as power, wisdom, love … and insight. Howard’s main theme was-get rid of your false selves to find the True Self. Observation and self-awareness lead to insight and change. Howard’s New Life Foundation was a member of the International New Thought Alliance during the bulk of his teaching and writing career. Anyway, sorry if you find his videos confusing. For my part, having studied his teachings, and listened to his tapes, for years, I don’t share your view. However, I respect other opinions. I am glad you like other content I’ve taken the trouble to upload. You keep well-and all power to you. Blessings!

@@drianej Dear Sir, Thank you very much. You are correct. I highly appreciate your content. What you write is clarifying and very helpful. I have listened to one of his audiobooks on audible "Success through the magic of personal power" it had some good info and some for me that still seems borderline regarding faith. I because of this video here above wondered about the direction the teaching reminded me of Hindu philosophy that often for me appears to diminish personal ability to make choice or have effect (only be witness to the "dream of reality"). I felt before your clarifying comment confused as if the talk was into that direction. I like NT for its ability to better lives and conditions (empowering through God).
