I applause to the authors who made this with a small budget. They are true fans of Star Wars It's sad, that Disney can't understand what big universe they have. So many interesting events could happen in the galaxy far far away, but they did the old story which was already finished and they managed to ruin old characters.

Ryan C what? No, Luke and Anakin were over time revealed as force users in the first film they were in. But, with Rey, one second she is a scavenger, cool. The next suddenly she has lightsaber training and force powers that would’ve taken years to learn.

Hats off to the production of this film. This is how you properly flesh out the characters that will makes the movie all the while relevant; how did people end up in Jabba's lair, there must be a story, whether long or short, light or dark there's a story and it matters to us. Not that Rey looking at the mirrors reflecting her own image means anything to us. Just like Luke said," Why are you here?" If you can answer the question, that's the key to a successful movie.

Everything about this was great! All the designs felt very Star-Wars-y, and it felt like part of the Star Wars world, rather than part of a Star Wars film set, which a lot of fan films end up looking like. All the acting was pretty decent too, and the sound effects and grittiness were Star Wars to a T. The music was especially great; it sounded like a live orchestra and had the same sort of sound as the A New Hope score. Admittedly, I cringed a bit with the orchestral Cantina Band reference because it was so ham-fisted, but other than that, I really liked the soundtrack! Well done, all! (I also liked the George Lucas clip at the end to really get a sense of where this idea came from)

@davenoneya10925 жыл бұрын
Is it really a spoiler though? I knew who the kid was once I figured out it was on Tatooine and there was a big ceature chasing the person at the start. The real clincher was how the Big Boss woman was dressed a lot like the Rancor Keeper in Return of the Jedi. Pretty good story overall, although a weak spot was the fact that Rancor's aren't native to Tatooine but someone could have imported them at some point or the one at the beginning was Jabba's original Rancor who got loose, and a lot better origin story than what they have listed in Wookiepedia where he was born on Corellia and after a convoluted path ended up as Jabba the Hutt's slave and beastmaster.

This had me so compelled & focused on the story, plot & characters, not having a clue to that this would, fit into Return of the Jedi. WOW!!! Hats off to the cast and crew, that's how you display great story telling. I like to think, this mini-movie was a deleted, flash back scene, in ROJ, of the man reminiscing on how, him & Rancor the monster, began, a friendship, after him seeing the monster get killed, by Luke. Keep up the awesome, work, guys.😀 and may the force be with you!!!
