Kombi Life Crikey, When it doesn’t rain, it pours, right? Good to hear from you just the same. Have been wondering how you three were faring lately. You have one big thing in your favour in Europe now and that is sunshine. Soak it up. A lot of researchers into the current illness suggest Vit D3 is a game changer. Here in Oz, we are in middle of a major spike in case numbers, mainly in Vic. People have not been able to get enough sun as we have been kept inside too long, plus now it’s winter here of course. Highly recommend Vit C too, for speedy recovery and healing from wounds like yours. You both seem to coping really well, all things considered. Safe travels. 🐨🌷

I'm a US expat living in Austria and there is literally nowhere I would rather be right now. Everything is back to "normal" for the most part since the end of May/early June. The only thing I wish I could change is that my parents could be here, safe. What's going on in the US with case numbers is insane to me...and not knowing when I can go home and see them again is an awful feeling.

So good to see you back. Sorry about the cyst (and eye) but how fortunate you had a beautiful place to hold up in and I’m sure you are grateful for the medical treatment there! My Border Collie, Lily, used to love to run with us... the rocky, stony dirt roads were really hard on her paws, but that didn’t stop her... she just ran so hard she’s sometimes injure her leg for a few days... but she was soooo happy. Take care.

If you Guys want to go to a place where it doen’t even seem like Covid 19 exists I suggest driving to Ardèche. It’s a beautiful place in France in the mountains. The view is great and food is quite cheap. I have been there on vacation before and it’s a stunning place. Ps: I’m Belgian. I live in Tessenderlo wich is east flanders. I know you Guys are in quite a hurry but it would be cool to one day wake up with a blue kombi driving on the streets of this small town.

So sorry about your eye and head, eat Turmeric or take capsules to keep infections at bay. I was scheduled for a root canal when the pandemic hit. Can you imagine living with an abscess tooth for months!? I took mega doses of turmeric and now I may wait until January because it does not hurt and it will be much cheaper! (USA healthcare). I like the new intro, Leah is as lovely as ever, Ben you can do anything and its fun but Alaska, bring that darting clip back! its her signature scramble! The run along was so fun too! This video was pandemicly exquisite, except I feel bad for Ben's well being.

That infection is scary. I have gotten blood poisoning at least 4 times. Once my toe hurt like crazy. I went to doctor who said it was broken. Few days later a red line coming from my toe. It was infected. Once I went barefoot walking in beach. Stepped on a. Tiny tiny shell fragment that I didn’t feel, but ended up giving me blood poisoning in my heel. When I came back was marching band camp. That hurt so bad.

The basalt rock sample looks to have a ropey texture - commonly referred to by its Hawaiian name Pa hoe hoe, with a somewhat lumpy texture below maybe where it's had minor weathering. The south of Spain has a lot of rocks from the former ocean that once spanned between Europe and Africa, from parts of oceanic crust (like the sample you were holding) to sections of sulphur-rich oceanic crust-upper mantle - around the area of the Rio Tinto, stretching Eastwards from the Portuguese border.
@eleanorheptinstall53544 жыл бұрын
My best guess with the second sample (with the tube-like structure) is that the lava running through the next upper layer cooled slowly (below a thin easily eroded, but insulating crust) - the remaining lava has been eroded away leaving the more resistant tube-like structure, alternatively, it may be a 'micro lava tube' that ran through a layer of sediment immediately above the Pa hoe hoe layer below - fusing with it.
