Escaping the crowds

This month I'm out in the beautiful English countryside fishing one of the most picturesque syndicate waters in Leicestershire. Knipton reservoir contains a mixed stock of carp to mid-forties and is run by AJS Fisheries. I'm at the venue for 72 hours just after the spawning closure. The carp are all held up in the thick weed beds but with some careful bait placement and the right tactics I go on to land several nice fish into low-thirties. Nice lake once I'm better hopefully I'll be out ,I've got loads of fake bread made with pop up mix so I'm gagging to get some off the surface.You never hear of anyone making it .Love the videos mate👍.

Cracking film Simon. AJS fisheries have got some lovely lakes. I fished Belvoir castle lake a number of years ago it was so peaceful and quiet. Like yourself I'm the other side of 50 now. And finding a lake that is relatively quiet of anglers is my number one priority. and a few biguns is always nice. all the best and good angling fella.

Looks like a nice lake. Shame it’s a bit far for me from Essex.Totally agree with the peace and quite. Hard to find lakes like that near me or I don’t know of any. Sure I seen a hut like that on edge of water on one of Chris Yates old films.
