Love it! Rebuilt my Auntie's old Mk1 Escort estate in the late '90s with a modded Vitesse efi V8 & manual box, along with a narrowed Brooklands atlas. Ran on 7x13 Alleycats with Mexico wings. Same bulkhead mods, but a bigger tunnel with an access hatch! 280 front & rear brakes were pretty damned good at stopping it!! Cheers. Leigh.

My mate built the car I can't take credit for building it, it was pretty good for what it was,0-60 not a clue it went great for what it was, I've got a v6 3.0 with nitrous to go in my cortina so subscribe t see that built 8

How did you get that V8 engine in the engine bay but it was a shoehorn job wasn’t it to get it in and fitted

It had the bulkhead cut back, the rv8 is quite small and fully slottedbehind the steering rack

it was a capri 4 speed, i will be mounting a jaguar v6 in my mk1 cortina which you may be interested in before you go v8, more power, cheaper and rev higher

@@dave280585 iv already fitted it. I have a Toyota 4 speed box with an aluminium Ford Essex v6 bellhousing for sale. I used the rover lt77 box in mine
