My top 13 of the Barcelona Eurovision Pre-Party 2023: 13. Ireland 🇮🇪 (Chaotic and awful syncs, I didn't like the song from the start anyways) 12. Slovenia 🇸🇮 (A HUGE difference from the live performance video... and not a positive difference at all. Rather dissapointing might I add). 11. United Kingdom 🇬🇧 (Oof, girl, you barely hit right half the notes you were supposed to). 10. San Marino 🇸🇲 (Decent, for the standards of the... entry). 9. Latvia 🇱🇻 (Also decent and not much different from their NF performance). 8. Moldova 🇲🇩 (Great energy and pacing of rhythm by Pasha). 7. Iceland 🇮🇸 (Dilja managed to make me like her song more than the impressions I originally had about it, tonight. A big grower, great vocals). 6. Ukraine 🇺🇦 (Consistent and totally spot on live for once more). 5. Lithuania 🇱🇹 (The goosebumps, people... incredible connection with the crowd). 4. Georgia 🇬🇪 (This was FANTASTIC! Yes, Iru used rather too many backing vocals in some parts but she still sang every single note flawlessly without them and remained in tune, excellent breath management!). 3. Portugal 🇵🇹 (QUEEN MIMICAT, SLAYED ONCE AGAIN! Such passion, emotion and charisma flowing through her voice once again). 2. Belgium 🇧🇪 (He has already proved in Eurosong that his live voice is as spectacular as it is in the studio version. Phenomenal performance and for sure had a lot of fun, just as Mimicat did. DON'T SLEEP ON GUSTAPH, PEOPLE! 😉) 1. Spain 🇪🇸 (I don't even need to comment anything, just go and watch her performance IMMIDIATELY!! BLANCA REACHING OTHERWORDLY BOUNDARIES WITH HER MAGICAL VOICE, you're literally experiencing something spiritual!!) Biggest Surprise: 🇬🇪 Biggest dissapointments: 🇸🇮 & 🇬🇧

Omg the echo on every single song was awful but the top 8 performances did really well in my opinion! Lithuania, Georgia, Portugal, and Spain in particular slayed way harder than they had any right to like seriously… VOCALS?!?! Also honourable mention to Destiny for being the best non-esc 2023 act by miles

Best of tonight: Blanca Paloma ofc. If there's any justice in the world, she'll also win in Liverpool. Mimicat was really good too and it made me more optimistic about her qualifying chances. Iru was really good vocally, but I still don't see her doing really well with this song. Gustaph was surprisingly good as well. Biggest disappointment: Mae Muller. I heard that she's sick, and I hope that's the reason why her performance tonight was weak. Joker Out also weren't as good as in their song reveal live performance.

I was dismissive to Belgium at first because I've heard Gala sang live before and I was stunned that she didn't win the whole thing so I didn't bother to give Gustaph a chance or listen. But I heard it first after the whole song reveal last week and whoa, he's a great live performer Song's a bit cheesy but there's no doubt about him vocally. A great lesson to always give the song a full listen rather than dismissed it from just mere snippets

Second year in a row sound there are problems with sound engineering in Barcelona. It made many performances hard to listen. 😢 Despite this "excellent technology", Monika, Iru, Gustaph, Pasha Parfeni, Mimicat and Blanca Paloma slayed. I think Sudden Lights and Piqued Jacks sounded decent despite these annoying echoes. The rest was really underwhelming sound and performance wise. But I hope all of them improve and give 100% of their vocal abilities and stage presence in the most important moments in May. PS. Most of the crowd probably confused this pre-party with with funeral or something idk. They looked awfully 💀 almost all the time.

A mi no me gustó para nada la presentación de Mae Muller (Reino Unido), la sentí que se le iba el aire y no le llegaba a la canción.
