Gotta be honest, I had Portugal as by winner right up until Ukraine took to the stage tonight, changed my mind and they became my new winner, I thought Artem was incredible. That said, Georgia was incredible, I had them second, a well-deserved win! 1. Ukraine 2. Georgia 3. Portugal 4. Albania (YAY we got them to the top 10!) 5. The Netherlands 6. Ireland (sorry but how did this end up so low?) 7. Spain (Did anyone else find the audience almost stopped us hearing Chloe?) 8. France 9. Malta 10. I kinda agree with you and I am happy for France. But at the same time, Estonia puts in a lot of effort, delivers high quality songs and gets robbed every year, while France gets supported since 2018. It feels so unfair to me and i wish, also other countries would get the support that France got.

My top as of a day after the show (all things considered: song, vocals, presentation) 1. Ukraine: 200% in the vocals, the energy, the emotion... Artem gave every ounce and both he and all of Ukraine should be proud. When he spoke that one "dim" that really tugged at my heart. Tears of joy all around, I can see why he cried, he got his dream and he knew he smashed it on stage. Still my fave 💙💛 2. Portugal: Masterpiece all around. Absolute professional. To get 2nd overall and win the televote with your own song (at 13/14, against songs adults wrote) is an achievement. Even though you didn't get the win, you should feel amazing about this Victoria 💚❤ 3. Georgia: deserved winner. Flawless. It's like he commanded a concert hall and he had this massive live orchestra behind him. Was top 5 for me in music video stage but then I wasn't really sure how it was resonating in the rehearsal. But at the final I was stunned in the best way. It really moved me. I hope when the contest goes to Georgia they actually put a live orchestra behind him. 4. Spain: this performance package just had me in awe and got me dancing and singing along!!! Spain knows how to create a Junior Eurovision act, every piece in the perfect place and lots of "wows" !!! Perfect launch for the Lola tour, iykyk 5. Netherlands: another one that had me dancing and singing!!! Sure... I'm partial to JSF and the JSF reference content was a plus but also the crowd engagement and staging, yes!!! 6. Albania: All-in. Nikol gave the performance of a lifetime and I love that the staging just let her dance and show her voice! 7. Estonia: went a little lower for me based on this performance package vs. the performances of others but the song is still amazingly solid and so is her voice 8. France: can't deny that flawless vocal!!! Liked it a looooot better than with the MV. Although it felt like they definitely could have done more with the staging, this worked largely because of Titouan's performance quality. Ofc the song isn't the best we've seen from France, but Titouan and France still showed JESC mastery despite that. Surprised how high this climbed haha 9. Armenia: what a showman, Lissandro level showmanship that engaged the crowd! His vocals showed fatigue or maybe strain in places (speaking as a vocalist, we've all been there and he has time to learn from that and grow!!!) But still I love the song and the performance package!!! 10. Germany: full-on emotions and a staging that improved things considerably vs. the music video stage. Perfect example of staging enriching a song. But in a stacked field... 11. Malta: this performance was so heartfelt and the staging was masterful. Well deserved top 5 in the final rankings But when things stacked up in ballad zone (and ballad sung to parents zone haha) this got way overshadowed by Georgia. 12. Italy: I loved everything about the performance, so much energy and really cool staging but again we're also going back to song comparison here and looking at a stacked field. 13. Ireland: at this point and above we get to the song/performance combos where I absolutely love all to almost all of it. But this one didn't stand out amongst the pack. Wondering if following Ukraine and Portugal made this go down because it's not her or the song... it's comparing Ireland's full package to everything else out there. 14. North Macedonia: they got the crowd involved and there were some cool staging elements but the song still does not stand out for me. Also could have used dancers behind them. 15. Cyprus: this was hard to watch as her vocals seemed fatigued and I feel bad for her (probably caused by having to dance and sing full out a lot, in not the best place in her vocal range) Also just wasn't the biggest fan of the backgrounds. Dancing top notch though! 16. San Marino: they had a great time and should be proud to represent their country 😊 the song still isn't my fave and that's why it's low in rankings, but that's not their fault ofc! 17. Poland: song still just doesn't work for me, staging was cool but didn't elevate the song and Dominik did his best with the mid song they gave him

Well Georgia was my winner so I'm stoked about this result. I am Portuguese however and it's bittersweet to come second after winning the online voting. I'm always a bit critical whenever juries give such a big amount of point to a single country, making it impossible for any other country to win, even though I actually much prefer Georgia to Portugal. Congrats to Andria because he sounded impeccable and, if anything, he did deserve the jury win, surely. My ranking after the show, with a few comments if I deem necessary: 1. Georgia | Andria Putkaradze - To My Mom 10/10 (=) 2. Albania 8/10 | Nikol Çabeli - Vallezoj (=) Not one to say this but... Queen placed 7th and I always supported her. Albania "be slaying" for the 2 year in a row. 3. Ukraine | Artem Kotenko - Hear Me Now 8/10 (+2) Nothing else to add other than, really polished performance and would've been a deserving winner as well. 4. Ireland | Enya Cox Dempsey - La Cheile 7/10 (+10) Ok, I was fully vibing to this live. It was never competitive and it's badly-produced, but it does have that disaster bop energy to it and Enya was a very likeable performer with actual good vocals, which other performances lacked. 5. Malta | Ramires Sciberras - Stilla Ckejkna 7/10 (+5) What a lovely surprise. In the show, this felt much more atmospheric and cozy. Staging helped quite a lot in that regard, it looked beautiful. Can easily overlook if it's dull or not, now. Fully deserved result and I do love an underdog story. 6. Italy | Simone Grande - Pigiama Party 6/10 (+7) Yep, I enjoyed this much more live. One of the only entries to do something with the stage too. Simone sounded good and the song is kid-friendly in a way that's not annoying to the adult viewer. 7. France | Titouan - Comme Ci, Comme Ça 6/10 (=) 8. San Marino | Idols SM - Come Noi 6/10 (=) 9. Estonia | Annabelle - Tanavad 5/10 (-6) My fears came true, it flopped hard. Even with dancers, stage felt empty and Annabelle seemed to be struggling for confidence. Song's still one of the more contemporary productions and I will be keeping it on my playlist though. 10. Portugal | Victoria Nicole - Esperança 5/10 (-1) 11. North Macedonia | Ana & Aleksej - Marathon 5/10 (+1) Am I in the minority when I say I enjoyed this more live? Don't get me wrong, staging was really low-effort but vocally, this was much better than antecipated. Choruses are a massive let-down but everything else is cool. Shame they don't have the budget to properly stage it. 12. Germany | Bjarne - Save The Best For Us 5/10 (-1) 13. Armenia | Leo - Cosmic Friend 5/10 (-9) Bad vocals seem to be a common trait this year. Studio version of this remains incredibly groovy and catchy, but I can't enjoy the live performance at all. Needed to focus more on the vocal. 14. Cyprus | Maria Pissarides - Crystal Waters 4/10 (-8) Big drop here. The song remains amateurishly charming and I do still like the tropical vibe, but vocally this was very off. Maria seems to be more of a dancer than a singer. To her credit, the dance break was indeed quite well-done. 15. Poland | Dominik Arim - All Together 3/10 (+1) 16. The Netherlands | Stay Tuned - Music 2/10 (+1) They did good live, they were charismatic and sang adequately. Still think it's the most boring song of the lineup. 17. Spain 2/10 | Chloe DelaRosa - Como La Lola (-2) I'm sorry, this is just very grating and the vocal was lacking. Definitely not for me but, at the end of the day, this is a kid's show and I see how it appeals to such demographic. As a last note, anyone who throws hate at Andria for winning a song competition is truly pathetic. I imagine there will be some unfortunately.

Hi ^^ My Top 17 for now: 1. Portugal Despite the 2nd Place im just happy. She won the Online Voting, got 12 Points from my Country´s Jury and most of all got Portugal their best result ever. Victorias Voice is Incredible and the Fact she wrote such an Amazing song at her young age makes it more impressive She has a bright future in front of her and Portugal can be Proud. 2. Ukraine This Boy is a Star, his vocal talent and stage presence is Insane. And so is the song, Awesome one 3. Georgia It got the Performance it needed. He was so Amazing vocally and the staging looked gorgeous. Combine that with a song that beautiful and you definitely have a winning worthy concept. Like with Mzeo in 2016 people where sleeping on this one 4. Estonia A bit robbed, but sadly not unexpected. I love this song though, really awesome structure and well produced 5. Malta Another one that unfolded its power live. Song is beautiful, this boy is a great singer and I love its fully in Maltese 6. Albania This entry is just such a pleasant listening experience, and I really like her voice 7. Cyprus Still a Song I love and which has a nice atmosphere. To bad the live fell a bit flat. 8. Armenia Banger of a song, just his live vocals could have been better 9. Germany This one elevated a lot at live, his vocals where great and the staging looked cool. 10. Italy Just a likeable and catchy experience, the Performance was nice too 11. North Macedonia To bad the Performance fell so flat. I really enjoyed the song 12. France I mean I like the song for sure. But it becomes repetitive rather fast 13. Ireland Catchy, but thats it 14. San Marino Its sweet, but just a bit empty and rather uncompetitive 15. Spain I can see the appeal. But her high pitched vocals make it hardly listenable for me 16. Poland Nothing to say. Lifeless and unmemorable song with a boring performance 17. Netherlands This way just always a big NO for me, and especially the Rap is hardcore cringe

Thank you for your understanding. :) I was a fan of Kääärijas song and was angry, that Loreen won with plagiarism. I was a fan of Baby Lasagnas song and was sad, that Nemo won instead (but at least, Nemo had a good song. Not like Loreen.) Junior Eurovision was a place, where I was always so happy with the winners since 2015. Now, 2024 ruins it for me by picking my last place of all contestants today. :( :( At least, Malta is in top 5. That's good. But he should have won instead of Georgia or literally EVERY other song! But not Georgia! I am really disappointed and wished, the juries were gone and they would define a new winner only based on the televoting. But that's sadly not, how it goes...

@meli-loves-music this is ludicrous thinking, just because 2 songs have a similar melody doesn't mean one is plagiarising the other The song "7th Wonder" that came 2n in eurovision for Malta in 2002 had a very similar chorus melody to the song "C'est La Vie" by B*Witched, but nobody has accused that of plagiarism. It's almost like, oh I don't know, maybe people just have similar ideas to each other? You have to be seriously conspiratorial if you think 2 songs having similar melodies makes one plagiarism of the other

It was a very quality entry that most basic people would sleep on it because it is a ballad. Juries have never chosen an undeserved winner. I would also prefer Portugal to win over Georgia, but still Georgia was a very decent entry. Nemo and Loreen deserved to win their respective years, not to forget Loreen was 2nd with televote.

Saying the televote has no say is beyond stupid, Loreen does NOT win with out her tele support, same.with the rest. its 50/50 for a reason. These past few contests have highlighted the issue fir Juries tho, Georgia was by staging/atmosphere/vocals the strongest of the night (Victoria missed her note on Jury show), they don't know how the other juries vote. But they can't not give the best top score because everyone will. But that leads to the issue since the jury's all (in theory) vote on the same guidelines vs tele being very individual preference, Jury votes are much more likely to be aligned if there's not very even competition

Looking at the jury results... It seems like jury criteria kinda exist and don't at the same time. Over the years, they didn't really vote fo rslow songs, last year they crashed and burned them totally, having like almost all of them at the bottom... At the same time, really high jury results like Kazakhstan 2019 & 2020 and 4 slow songs in their top 8 this year (including a Kazakhstan 2019-like landslide 1st place) happen from time to time. Seems random. But at the same time, Mzeo won in 2016 when only juries voted, and now, 8 years later, same composer wrote a similar enough song for the same country and same contest, many people compared it to Mzeo... and they actually got a confident jury win again, like there wasn't those 8 years. That, on the contrary, seems too logical, to the extent that it usually doesn't happen in real life. Just going to extremes. Don't know what to think. One thing could be said definitely now, performing last at JESC definitely gives a huge televote boost.

my ranking top 5 for after the show with 1-2 sentenced reasons 1. Ukraine 🇺🇦 (+1) The high note is absolutely breathtaking and it's my winner because of that. 2. Georgia 🇬🇪 (+9) It has a heartwarming meaning for his mother and the staging was absolutely incredible. 3. Ireland 🇮🇪 (+4) This performance is so underrated and so fun but I get why it went to the bottom 3. 4. Albania 🇦🇱 (+2) Those vocals are so soft and I think she's talking about a flower and I like how the music sounds, the staging is kinda basic though. 5. Portugal 🇵🇹 (-4) I loved the studio version and it had a very emotional meaning. But I think the performance's results were a little too high than what it deserved.
