one very good maneuver to lose someone on your tail when you have someone on your tail is too fly away in a straight line, suddenly hit s look upward and press space. this will make you do a brake and lets the enemy fly past you or above you because they thought you were going upwards.

I use hover airframe atm and now I would like try another airframe, but can't decide where to spent my certs in. I read discription, but like to know, how much influence (++ or --) the racing airframe has when it com to make turns/manouvers? would you like to state a few cons/pros between dog- racing airframe please? davelantor thanks, I'm a pilot NC Reaver is my passion, I know that this guide is for the Scythe but trust me I was fine with these tips and I stopped crashing (a lot less) I miss only adjust a little combat plane, and adjust the primary weapons, thanks dave also being your enemy thank you! hope we will meet not airborne xD, maybe by land .. I dont manage to do this reverse manover. I activate the afterburner and look down. What am i doing wrong? Do I need a special Upgrade or anything like that?

Assuming your trying to fly backwards, it is a very fickle thing to pull off. You need to get a good amount of upward thrust (not forward) then quickly tilt your nose down and stop thrusting for a moment. When you do this you should still be going upwards while facing down due to the momentum from when you were thrusting, then use your boosters. If you point your nose down while still holding the vertical thrusters you will gain forward momentum which is what makes you crash into the ground.

I use fire suppression because it can heal you when you're NOT on fire too so you can get a quick boost to health in dogfights.

Back when the video was uploaded fire suppression could only be used when on fire. They buffed it so you can use it anytime now

How do you reverse? I've tried and tried with the Scythe but can't stay alive for more than 5mins. I just don't feel natural with the controls. You say reverse, but holding the S key just brings me to a stop. The only way I can fly backwards is by tilting my nose up and hitting the space bar. You make it look so easy! Really good videos anyways.

Against the AA missle guys, always turn into them and engage. They usually run away and are terrible at fighting.

I had high frame drops, but its still manageable. I hear it has more to do with compatibility then high spec. For instance we got reports that using high graphics actually improved performance :P

One thing that makes the flares less attractive is....if youre using it to avoid lock on rocket hits....after they reload....new rockets are gonna fly to you so...better just use your afterburner and get out

The Opposing pilot could be that good, the enemy is literally 10m from your tail, or you are doing it wrong and need more practice

MsDarkfutur Nope you have to be in hover mode and should mean yourself a bit backwards. Ideal would be to also lean to left or right to make yourself a harder target.

See, I watch dogfight vids on KZbin and those guys make it look easy as fuck, reigning death in their aerial ballet recital.
