This enchanting town (the Venice of the Czech Republic) is one of the most beautiful cities in the Czech Republic and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. But beware, the town is very touristy and very busy, especially in the summer months.
Český Krumlov is not only worth seeing, but also very atmospheric and lively. You can stroll around and enjoy a snack and a drink, admire the work of local artists in the many studios or enjoy shopping. If you fancy a more sporty activity, take a canoe trip on the Vltava River, so you can also see Český Krumlov from the water.
There are many nice terraces and restaurants along the water. But picnicking is also certainly possible.
