Eileen, i am so sorry for your loss, literally still in shock and cried ever since i saw the story, inna li allah wa inna ilayhi raji3oon, she is in a better place right now and may she be the reason for you and haytham to enter janna, take care of yourself we'll pray for you, a cousin of me was pregnant with her first child' a baby girl' and when she passed her due date the dr tell her if she feel the baby kick, she could come and induce her, she spent a whole night awake until she felt her little baby kick to rush to the hospital but unfornately by the time she got there her little angel died in her womb, so she gave birth to her and named her a cute name, i know it's so tough but you need to be patient and have faith in Allah, now a couple years passed by and she has two beautiful babies, so ssabrun jameel,

I was a Canadian ex-pat living in the UAE (Al Ain in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi). My husband was sponsored by his job (Abu Dhabi Education Council) and found his teaching job through a recruiter. I thought it was easy to make friends, as I joined an ex-pat group called "Al Ain Weekenders." The group had activities almost every weekend -- and explored the town, museums, we had hikes in nearby Oman, etc. You can meet people through work, people that live in your residential complex, and church/mosque. I LOVED living in a GCC country and miss it terribly. The UAE is super safe, too!!

I feel like I am listening to my story 😀😀😀..I came to Qatar in 2012 as an expat with a good job offer after so many fail attempts..Initial months were very hard to Survive without family and frnds in new place ..But things finally fallen in place after 6 months I started loving my job and country so much ..Then in 2013 I met my love next year we got engaged then in 2016 we got married that was a very tough time to make families convince as we both are differnt nationalities ..but today we are happily married Alhamduillah with 3 year old son ..Now I am waiting to get back to work again😫

I was 11.5 weeks for my first ultrasound and found out that our daughter's heart stopped at 7.5 weeks. It has been a sad and painful journey to say the least. I empathize with you. But then I saw all the coments about the baby. I read your instagram posts and I want to tell you how sorry I am for your loss! Now I understand why you do not post. I met my now husband a year ago and we are now married, but I am christian and he is muslim. When I started reasearching Islam to understand his religion i found my own. How does the health system work there? In Canada we have family doctors, walk-in clinics, and lastly we’re referred to hospitals or specialists. Is it similar?

Eslimah thank you 😊 but does the $ 25 cover all your medical needs. For example if you need a surgery or if you need to be admitted in hospital, emergency.. etc and let’s say if you are under a work visa would the company I work for cover all my medical expenses

Mariam Mahmoud I don’t think it covers surgeries but the cost would be low. I am not sure about this part. As for companies - it depends. The bigger and better the company - the higher the chance that medical insurance for the employee - in some cases even the family of the employee might be included in the medical expenses that are covered. Really depends.

Salam i live in Qatar and the medical health system is seriously the best! All you need is the health card which you can receive when you have a valid residence permit. The initial cost is about 150 qatari riyals but then the cost becomes incredibly cheap.

I’m a cabin crew and got a job for Qatar Airways but due to the COVID-19 my process has been postponed for the moment... Thanks to you, I can’t wait to move to Doha! I wanted to thank you personally for sharing everything you know about the country. Tbh before getting the job, I knew NOTHING about Qatar, I didn’t even know where it was on the map🤦🏻‍♀️ But now I’ve learned so much, and part of it is due to you. You are so lovely sister, I feel so much of positive vibes from you 😘 I live in Saudi Arabia, and a lot of life in Qatar sounds like lifestyle here 🤗 and also, I agree with you about enjoying being on your own 😅 I don’t feel lonely or depressed when there’s not many people around.. i enjoy my own company and have an amazing time with myself..
