My opinion is they do not owe anyone anything, this was out of their hands. Mounts come and go in the game, you get to pick one eventually, and the Golden Pursuit's is still up there to get one of those for free is still there anyways, they give mounts out throughout the year, better to pick one up that you personally like tbh. They also give you a free horse / mount when you level up you can get a free mount by leveling your character up to level 10. You'll receive the searle horse as a quest reward. A lot of quests in ESO you get pets, etc. Just google what quests you can do to get pets, it is fun!

One thousand seals of endeavor is not bad at all. I will take that. I play eso a fair amount and seals of endeavor take a long time to accumulate, and they are some of the only ways anybody is ever gonna get an apex mount without forking out five or six hundred bucks.

The Texas power grid is really poor for a number of reasons, and none of it has to do with renewable energy source, which is what the GOP in Texas claimed. There's been years of under-investment, which isn't surprising when looking at the mass of companies that provide power and transmission and there is very little regulation. The system is susceptible to both cold and hot weather conditions. They don't have enough reserve capacity to transmit enough power during weather extremes, which tend to increase power demand. And the gas supply infrastructure is bad, so in 2021, that failed as well. Initially they couldn't meet demand for power, so started cutting people off, and then the gas supply failed, so they then didn't have power to supply. Oh, and the failing gas infrastructure meant that those companies that were supply gas hiked the prices up in an cynical gouging move at a time of crisis.

I was able to play ESO for several hours until 11pm(ish) central, then i got booted off. After 1.5 hrs of waiting in queues, getting back in for minutes at a time, and then getting booted again, i decided to call it a night. I had just farmed a dungeon for all the pieces i thought i needed but never had a chance to put it all together before getting booted started!! (At least I got most of my farming done!) Oh well, I'm glad we're getting some compensation for time lost.

It was mildly annoying, but I'm glad that the brunt of the outage happened during my work days (when I generally only have 1-2 hours per day to play) and not my weekend (when I have all day to play the game). So, I'm pretty satisfied with the compensation they are offering. Although, when the NA servers went down again, while the EU servers were still functioning, it made me realize that I might want to build up my EU server characters up a bit more instead of focusing entirely on NA. Also, you're not wrong about the Star Wars Original Trilogy being the only true Star Wars. After more than 50 years on this earth, no one will ever be able to convince me otherwise. :)

The lag on the ps na server is unbearable right now. I logged into betnikh and it took 7 seconds for hardened ward to cast. Cyrodiil is exponentially worse with skills taking 10-20 seconds and disconnects happening. The population last night was 0 bars all alliances.

as a former navy IT if there system hiccuped like that and then get things back online only to get ddosd i would look at that data center having been targeted to begin with cause it would be possible to cause the EPO to trigger remotely if there systems is this poorly protected

Texas isn't part of the national power grid. They keep voting to keep their own private energy grid however it's EXTREMELY out of date and poorly maintained leading to many many outages on the regular

I live in Texas and I can tell you that isnt accurate. There are not many, many outages on the regular, we had 2 incidents in 2021 and 2022. When there was an unprecedented snowstorm bith times that resulted in ice on branches that brought power lines down and it was like 2 or 3 days of serious no electricity for most people, which was life-threatening in some cases. But it's not like the power grid doesn't work on a regular basis, the way you describe.

To everyone watching this video .... ESO is a CASH GRAB of a game. I used to play It, even bought two Dlc, Till one time I had to spend almost 200$ for s simple cosmetic from a CRATE?. My advice? Play warframe, way better, everything is free, Developers ACTUALLY care about community. ESO is basically a load of expensive BS that should be FREE!
