U can recreate the fire logs by using regular logs and putting a small brazier underneath them

That's a great tip! I often use the New Life Bonfire, but it's a little large, and bright, so not great in every scenario.

I find the best is a Breton torch. I used to do it with a Nord torch but it's a triple source of light, way too bright, even bleeds through stone! Another option is a provisioning station :)

Love this video. The first 4 homes are really the only homes that will either make you gold or pay for itself on console. The rest are just too expensive for us console players.

This was super handy! One of my goals in ESO is to buy up all the gold buyable houses during the next Zenithar event for the discount. I just want to do it for myself and some achievements, but it's nice to know I could get some of my money back selling the furniture since I don't plan on fully furnishing most of them. Thank you!

I forgot about that event....that should be the basis for the crafting mini event disaster they just rolled a couple of weeks ago. Tweak it with a couple of things and keep zenithar coming....either regularly or as a scheduled mini event.

I just found ur video. It is amazing get knowledge some of my prefered homes have so valuable items. I never ever will sell them. Except Lunar Champion (those uglies rock piles) i kept all original forniture. Finally, with all my respect u have charming eyes. 😊

That is Alpha Gear! I just did a full video on it. In addition to the UI upgrade, it also allows you to save loadouts and swap builds and gearsets on the fly.

My firelogs still haven't sold in 2 days, I put it for 395K but there's always new listings for 330 or 350k :( and I spent all my gold too on that 60k house (pcNA, my listing is in Telvanni Peninusla,Necrom from conquest of tamriel guild, if you want to help me out and buy it)

Do not own a home yet. What kind of furnishing add storage space besides the trunk all characters czn access. Chests, wardrobes and the like?

In addition to that free storage coffer, you can unlock 3 more 30-slot coffers, and 4 storage chests with 60 slots each. These can be purchased with Master Writ Vouchers from Rolis Hlaalu OR for Tel Var from the General Merchan in the Imperial Sewers.

you also have a FREE Armory station in the crown store you can claim and place in each and every home. It also happens to have a candle on it so it will light up the room a bit. Starting at level 6 (now) you can get one inn room for free per character getting the quest starter (seeking tenant! usually on the wall of a bank), or again in the crown store, for free. Be warned, you can only get the inn room of the city where you get that quest (it's stated nowhere and you talk to the same NPC in all cities, but only the one of that initial quest activation city will work, then you need another character). Otherwise inn rooms only cost 3 k and you can even get those in DLCs you can't access (without the free quest option as the npc is outside the inn room thus in the dlc area)

Ive been pick pocketing my way and blade of woeing to buying my houses lol. Last month because of the anniversary i was lucky to join because they gave away a notable house for free. As a new player i own 3 of these starter house also to include (Cyrodiil) jungle house for convenience and a few inns. Grabbed the first two you mentioned. Listed the coals for 300k and firelogs for 400k on ps5 console respectively. Fingers crossed. Hope they sell soon!

I'm dying, lol. As for the benefits, it's mostly convenience. Free travel anywhere you own a home, extra storage and customizable crafting areas are the big ones for me. But I also just enjoy the process of designing a home and furnishing it.

N its not like mounts out here for gold. Or costumes or skins or flashy weapons. Or replacement actions or allies or more storage space later in the game or style pages. Literally nothing but health options. N they give you better ones for logging in. Hell a proper shop for companion gear with traits. Let me pic the traits n charge me for it. Something!

Console is extra tough. Without TTC, I imagine it's really difficult to price things correctly or find buyers for niche items. Especially if your guild trader is even a little bit out of the way.

If the home is purchased with gold, the furnishings are unbound. If you purchase with crowns they are bound. I haven't checked items from event homes like Antiquarian's Alpine Gallery or Kelesan'ruhn, wouldn't surprise me if those were bound by default but I'll try and confirm!

Unfurnished will still come with some furnishings. "Furnished" homes can come with additional furnishings, but then every furnishing, even the ones that come with the "Unfurnished" version will be bound. You want the 69k one.

I've heard that prices can be pushed to Tamriel Trade Centre for console servers, but it's rarely done. I believe you've gotta do it manually by searching a few vendors to see what things are selling for in-game.

From one of these homes in particular? There are other homes with empty fireplaces. I was caught off-guard by the response to this video, it did like 10x what I expected, and we did see a supply spike in all the items I covered that aligned pretty closely with the video release. Absolutely crazy that I seemingly managed to have that much impact on the market.

You have to buy them unfurnished with gold to make the included furnishings sellable. The unfurnished versions come with these furnishings.

All homes come with some free furnishings, even if they are "unfurnished", including everything featured in this video. You do have to purchase them unfurnished with gold to make the included furnishings sellable. When you purchase them "furnished" they come with even more furnishings. For Kragenhome that appears to be correct. I will say some of these furnishings prices have fluctuated quite a bit since this video, I'd probably still prioritize the companion, but they only take 20 minutes or so to unlock.

I agree wholeheartedly, this was just a sneaky way to encourage more players to invest in ESO housing. I spend more time in precision edit mode than any other content. And despite posting dozens of videos about ESO home design, I still get regular comments asking, "What is the point?" - this video was my response.
