I've been using the Magical Trample with Sub Assault and it hits like a truck for overland content. The 1.5 seconds casting time is very slow though! No one I've talked to likes it except you, sadly.

I want to let you know that this video is 1. Part of why I got into ESO (I am a long time Sims2 player, and I wanted something with similar but different tools for decorating), 2. Why I tried splitting a level in Seabloom Villa to give more space (mixed success due to the awkward shape), and, 3. The reason that when I finally got Snugpod (you were right, it's REALLY well situated) I redecorated the whole interior to hide the wood-elf stuff I'm not so keen on. This video inspired me to try that kind of complete facade and... I'm really pleased with how it's turned out. I'd never even have considered it, if not for this video, so thank you! This video, and your ones on achievement furnishings and how to build your own structures have been really inspiring and yesterday I got West Weald because of your recommendation. Thanks for making such wonderful videos, and for explaining how you do it all!

Unrelated but also related. Starting the clockwork city quest from collections spawns a portal that takes you straight to Mournhold wayshrine/crafting area. You can do this from Cyrodiil, imp city, and sewers

Agreed! Even with the event increasing supply, they are still hard to come by, and of course there's no guarantee of a Lead. I just wish we had a way to farm specific zone Treasure maps.

It's currently up to 50% off during the Fallen Leaves event. Last year Necrom was on sale for up to 67% off during Black Friday, but you would of course miss out on the Fallen Leaves event rewards if you wait until then. It'll also be _*free_ next summer for ESO+ subs.

Scribing is mainly for mainly hardcore players who are going for score pushes in PVE or for PVP . Other than that it is not require for most peope.

I am a bit tired of this same formal for every chapter, almost the same sized map, same styles like Dark Anchors event, 2 public dungeons, and trail. They can put as many skills in Scribing as they can, doesn't change the fact they are simply visually boring, like torch swipe in fighter guilds skill, come on... It's crazy that this is not even close to being as cool as spell crafting in the 2014 ESO showcase.

While I'm a fan of the current implementation of scribing, I am also very, very tired of the yearly chapter format. I hate that I already _know_ the 2025 chapter will have exactly 2 public dungeons, 6 world bosses, 6 delves, another round of reskinned dark anchor world events, 3 overworld gearsets, 1 new trial, 4 trial sets, 1 new city, an inn room, and maybe 1 large home. They need to start breaking away from this formula just to keep things interesting.

I have been playing a ton of ESO this year.. got the chapter, haven't even touched the scribing stuff but love the new area, the Delves are good.. the public dungeons need more bosses, or maybe just bosses with more phases. I have always thought PUBLIC dungeons need to have 1 shot mechanics to make it more different that delves

I did find the Public Dungeon Group Event Bosses to be more challenging than usual. A step in the right direction when it comes to overworld challenges.

Great video! I think gold road is alright, 7/10. If you are strapped for cash then wait until next year, if not then get it. Scribing is neat but a little underwhelming for me. I’m also concerned that it will contribute to class identity erosion. But overall I think the scribing system has a good foundation that they can continue to update. The main quest made me a little sad because like you, I found it to be mundane and also un-impactful/safe. I would say my favorite thing about gold road is the zone (even though it’s a bit too bright at times lol), the furnishing styles, and skill styles. I like that there have been so many free and earnable goodies this year and hope that they continue with this even after the anniversary is over. Especially earnable goodies.

Great review! oh, but VIVEC CITY RULES! for crafting writs, at least for me. I have to hit the bank on every toon while doing writs so the extra door in skingrad makes it take too long.

As a story, I’ve found GR to be the flattest, most underwhelming chapter to date. I found some of the wood elf characters just outright irritating. When I got to the end, I honestly thought “is that it?” High Isle gets grief but it’s a way better story than Gold Road. Agree with you on Skingrad though. That was my favourite city in Oblivion.

I am disappointed by that decision as well, Gold Road definitely felt a little bit 'light' on content, especially if Scribing isn't your thing.

A good one I like is Dressing Room. Is outdated but still seems to work fine. Lets you save mult skill bars/gear sets and swap easily with 1 button

any chance u still have the data without going to the banker ? it seems so weird to include it, all long term players i know (which are the ones doing those dailys) own a banker and a trader which makes it weird to include the time spent to go to the banker and heavily favours some citys while its totaly irrelevant in the end like just to make an example i stoped my time too and from accepting the dailys to handing them in it took me 1.01 in alinor and my banker was 2m behind me at the end (without any kind of speedbuffs just normal running speed and the 2 movement cp)

Here's the list with both. I only bothered double checking the cities that were competitive. Also worth noting that I maintained the same normalized speed build w/ no sprinting or mounts, so these times aren't the absolute fastest. Also, just to address the 'why' behind the banker stop. I originally ran this test because Vivec City was considered the best Daily Writ city by seemingly the majority of the player base. Since the crafting layout was objectively less efficient than Leyawiin or Alinor (and now Skingrad), I suspected it was primarily b/c of the free-range banker. This was supported by comments I received on YT and Reddit. I also regularly include a stop at the real Banker b/c I typically need to drop duplicate recipe in a guild bank or sell excess materials & master writs on a Guild Trader. So given my personal preference and what seemed to be the community consensus at the time, I opted to include a stop at the banker. I also try to avoid making any recommendations that make a large Crown Store purchase feel required.

@@Kalam0n it sounds reasonable - but even if u dont wanna recommand it a very huge amount of players already owns those mobile bankers and it wouldnt have been that hard to just mark the time when handing in the dailys aswell - i also assume that means u dont have the data anymore ? my (very) limited testing so far was 1.01 at alinor and 0.53 in leawyn which is where i moved my crafters for the time being but i am not sure if its the best spot

The brighter green should be Glenbridge Green, and then I probably used Warden's Moss Green and Boss Butcher Brown for the more muted colors. This was recorded on the PTS so I can't confirm, but those are my usual go-tos.

Filer Ool is inside the Infinite Archive, which is in the northern part of Apocrypha but the Archive is considered part of the base game so anyone can visit. Filer Ool has their own little island towards the back of the area you first zone into. His inventory does rotate, so you'll see different leads every week - resets on Tuesday morning.

I personally love my Fair Winds Ship home. Utility wise, it allows me to fast travel to any of the three alliances with ease, which is great for getting around the map without paying gold to teleport. I use the Captain's Quarter's as my main's room, the cargo deck for a combat testing area, and the Crew's Quarters for all my crafting and other utility stations. Did it cost a lot? ABSOLUTELY! Worth it? In the long run, yes <3

I do like that one! The only reason I don't rate it higher is simply because you can't use it to port directly to those zones from outside the house. Love the views on the Fair Winds though!
