Light attack between every ability. Try and time your heavy attacks with when the enemy is offbalanced because you'll receive double resource return. Otherwise heavy attack when all dots are down and you're directly replacing ele/frags with heavy attacks.

You would need to change the build completely if you planned to go pvp, equip a resto staff and use sets more focused on sustain. You would also need to change your cp allocation and make sure all your gear has the impenetrable trait.

@@georgelima6376 the 'low' dps is mainly because of your CP. If you nail down animation cancelling and get to perhaps 300/400 CP then you should increase your dps by roughly 5-6k. Do you have issues with sustaining your magicka? Try to level out fighter's guild to get rearming trap as well it is very useful.

for the elsweyr patch - replace double-barred pet with double-barred inner light. you can also remorph the daedric prey if you want. thats more or less it. its not very good though things may change in scalebreaker.

i think at this point, gear doesnt matter, but its more likely your rotation. do check out some videos which explains some of the nuances of combat. alcast, or t3hasiangod have made some ones that i can recommend.

I have checked and the siphon skill appears to be buffed by vma daggers. And with the 10% dot buff on necromancer, do you think a vma build could be effective competitive on a stamina necromancer? I don't much like the skull, and sustain would be better with a channel no?

i just recently checked, and no the siphon skill isnt buffed by vma daggers in any way. vma build i will look at, so no comment on the effectiveness there. stamina necromancer has usually only 1gcd for the skull as a spammable as it is, because blastbones, being so strong and so cheap, is hard to drop.

sustain required will depend entirely on your level of group support and fight time. first thing i would do is pick a race that you're happy with. there isnt much a difference between altmer and witchmothers vs breton and bistat. but for fights where sustain is not a problem (which is rare) then the altmer will win

if you mean with regards to the scalebreaker patch, matriarch is a lot weaker now. trap is my preferred option because it does a little dps, reduces magicka drain for improved sustain, and allows a more fluid rotation. channeled is of course still very good and more useful in certain situations.

hi, personally i am using a razer naga mouse, so i bind all abilities on there. i prefer it this way because im not super great at using my left hand to do much more than wasd, potion (q), synergy (x) and tab targetting. :) lightning flood, and all ground-based aoes are a bit clunky. if you are doing the rotation at full speed, rely entirely on your timing, and never double-press it, as it will make you cast it twice. timing is important because it will not even come out if you time it too early.

Mother's sorrow is good. Run it on body so you have it active on both bars (you cant run it with two staffs cause you need the maelstrom inferno staff on back bar). As for replacing Zaan's, I would use illambris for single target fights and grothdaar for aoe fights.

@@Raliator Mother's sorrow should be the one replacing Siroria. You need to use spell strategist as the other set (well you don't NEED to but its optimal and not too hard to farm). If you do not want to farm spell strategist, you could use something like Julianos, but spell strategist is best in slot for now so I highly recommend using it. Your set up should be the following Head - Grothdaar/Illambris/Zaan Shoulders - Grothdaar/Illambris/Zaan Chest - Mother's Sorrow Waist - Mother's Sorrow Hands - Mother's Sorrow Legs - Mother's Sorrow Feet - Mother's Sorrow Necklace - Spell Strategist Ring 1 - Spell Strategist Ring 2 - Spell Strategist Inferno 1 - Spell Strategist ; shock enchant (absorb magicka if having problems with sustain) Inferno 2 - Maelstrom ; shock enchant You can switch gear around a bit but make sure Mother's Sorrow is always active and Spell Strategist is active on the first bar. All armour is divines with magicka enchant. Jewellery can be infused/arcane/ bloodthirsty with a spell damage enchant. Hope this helps!

Hey liko so I just recently discovered my love of sorcs (the last class I leveled to 50 based on your videos and turns out to be one of my favorites) why is it that you choose to run bound armor over an execute? Does it actually provide more dps? Another guide I found advocated for swapping the armor with the execute, what have you discovered about this decision if you don’t mind me asking

The sorcerer execute just isn't very good. The spell damage and especially max magicka passives from bound armor buffs all your abilities and it should win out, especially if your team is full of other classes who have stronger executes. If there are things such as orbs in cloudrest or spheres in cloudrest, they'd be good candidates for fights where the return magicka morph would be good.

The one on backbar is the one with the most uptime. He prefers more dps from flame probably, and feels that the sustain is fine without perfect uptime on enchant

@Zombie Head if you get a great group together with tanks who have it down to a science. There's not really that much movement during boss fights. Even the VMOL twins, the only movement is during conversions. There's spots where you move for a moment sure, but then you stand in a spot long enough for siroria to work.

Arcane are best because pet scales with magika and she is not running any execute. No siroria staff because in trials is hard to keep the buff active

For me, arcane simply outperforms bloodthirsty. The pets are not scaling with bloodthirsty nor spell damage so infused jewelry isn't an improvement. Siroria front bar is entirely possibly and likely better in situations where its easy to keep up the stacks. Either way choice on the gear is yours depending on how you play it. Thanks.

If I were to run necropotence instead of siroria for armors, how much DPS differences will there be? Also when Im running siroria my magicka is only at 33k, how are you able to get 46k magicka? Even with my necropentece my magicka is around 42k. Im at cp360 by the way. Great video as always man

Thanks. These stats night include the war horn buff which is 10% extra magicka. Also check your jewelry I am using all arcane here. Hard to pinpoint an exact dps difference but on a mobile fight where you might not keep stacks up that well, the difference isnt going to be huge for sure.

I haven't tried the static rotation myself so I can't give an exact number but I know it will be solid. Arcane will almost certainly be stronger than bloodthirsty in trial groups where there are other dds with stronger executes. According to my tests this does also mean the extra stats from bound aegis contributes better than the execute too. Thanks

I don't think there is too much of a difference between them. A fire enchant is a good source of burning damage, which can add up - chilled and concussion damage aren't nearly as good.

don't know what DEV made the combat in this game and what amateur animator backed it and of course, the terrible sound effects but the guy who coded this combat and these fucking timers and this lame as rotation this game has should be literally obliterated. If you don't have a conveyor belt of friends coming off the assembly line it's impossible to really do that content except for with the toxic people you randomly join with. the whole find a guild never works. I have been in many with many new people ,all made promises by the important guild leader that was never kept. Once they find their perfect little circle of fat fucks they never bother with the rest of the guild, just leech of them. The game is horribly flawed on almost every level.
