Ive also pulled 400+ bounty sheets from guards. I'm recently concentrating on gold throne furnishing plans from Orsinium, Eldenroot, and Wayrest. Pulled 16 in 4 weeks.

there's a speed cap which you're probably going overboard with here...don't forget slotting concealed weapon gives minor expedition and celerity red star exist so I would swap out adept rider for seducer because cloak costs mag

I've used 3 pieces of Night Terror, 4 pieces of Darloc Brae and 5 pieces of Night Mother's Embrace for years as my sneaky thief setup. It works well.

Thieving isn’t actually too bad, made 750k soo far. I’m currently at 10M gold on Xbox, it’s good for supplemental income, I make about 20-30k a day not including furnishings, or selling purified water(more expensive) alchemy ingredients.

Im on console and I use Jailbreaker and Darloc Brae with stage 2 vampire passive and Ring of the WH on a Khajiit nightblade so I can perma-cloak at full speed and not run out of resources. I can even sneak through DLC dungeons and loot the treasure chests, but not strong enough to fight DLC mobs or bosses. All movement is at the 200% speed cap and harvesting nodes is less than 1 second. Crafting like this is almost dizzying fast on screen. When I got enough CP I slotted Shadowstrike to Blade of Woe any humanoid NPC, including large groups of them since they are all stunned/distracted by the Shadowstrike skill. Great for farming tel vars in IC sewers. Excellent build for stealing from guards, even if unsuccessful pickpocket because I can cloak and walk away. Even if they pop a revealing flare, just dodge roll away and they can't catch up or see me after that. I've had fun attacking guards and then running at last minute and seeing how large a bounty I can get. Though too many attacks on the same guard results in them popping "Riot Control" for which there is no defense unless out of range. Good times!

There's a lot of glaring holes here and the champion point section is outright misleading, if someone just follows this guide blindly, they will have a worse experience than if they just wing it. I will start with the most important part. Champion points MOST IMPORTANT NODE: SHADOWSTRIKE The difference between having Shadowstrike equipped and not having it equipped is night and day. Whenever you Blade of Woe (from here, BoW) someone, you are briefly visible and all NPCs around you witness their death. Meaning you incur a large bounty, npcs will potentially attack you and put you in combat, you lose rapport with Ember if you have her around, it's all around bad. Shadowstrike allows you to avoid this almost entirely. The distraction during assassinations prevents any and all non-guard NPCs from noticing your BoW-usage. You can barge into a conversation between two witnesses, assassinate one of them, and the other one doesn't even notice. Extremely useful when pickpocketing entire crowds and later in this comment I will also name a location where that comes into play. Good node: Cutpurse's art If you're actually doing crime to make some quick and guaranteed gold, this is a very useful node to have. When you steal large quantities of treasures, the difference between a treasure being a 40 gold white treasure and a 100 gold green treasure is already massive, but even more so when you're upgrading greens to blues. I rank it above Infamous because it MIGHT (note: I don't know) also improve your chances at specific blueprints in specific cases. Good node: Infamous Increases your fence gold by 25%, just a default multiplier to all the guaranteed gold selling stolen treasures to a fence. If you're not using that character as your main, this node and Cutpurse's art are good nodes to get. Race: Khajiit. Others have said it and for good reason. It gives you a 5% improved chance at pickpocketing and at that level every percentile makes a massive difference. 5% can be the difference between 95% (which due to double rolls, still has an effective 10% chance of failing) and 100% (no chance at failing at all) Locations: Skywatch in Auridon. If you genuinely are pickpocketing for guaranteed gold from treasures and not shooting for specific blueprints, Skywatch is the go-to location I would always recommend. Better than any other. You got large crowds of npcs standing together. They are all drunkards, so with a khajiit and maxed pickpocketing, you will have a 100% chance of success at pickpocketing for the first two times. With Shadowstrike, you can just comfortably kill all of them one by one once you've picked their pockets twice and none of them will notice unless a guard is nearby. You should find 5-6 sizable crowds that you can conveniently rotate between with some other npcs in-between. With the mages' guild mages however I recommend just BoWing them because you do have a sizable chance to fail even with maxed pickpocketing. At-Tura Estate in Stormhaven NOTE: ONLY DO THIS ONE WITH A NIGHTBLADE - This location can only be accessed once you've progressed the Stormhaven main quests past a certain point. However it has something very useful to it. You will find the npcs there are a lot more difficult to pickpocket, but that is because they are nobles. The fact that they are nobles in a Breton zone means that every time you pickpocket one of them, you have a small chance at getting a blueprint for a Breton Throne. Unlike with Wayrest, you have a whole bunch of nobles close together. The biggest downside is that you're walled in, so when you're caught, you have to outrun the guards and use invisibility, either via a potion or through the nightblade class skill. Orsinium in Wrothgar This one will take a while for you to figure out. Orc thrones are a lot more valuable, but the nobles in Orsinium are spread out across most of the city and you have to actively search the buildings to find them. Only do this one if you're in for the long haul. Sets: Night mother's embrace Overland set from Deshaan, potentially a cheap alternative for capping your stealth detection reduction. I think you should redo it. Forgetting the racial passive from the Khajiit and failing to mention Skywatch is one thing, but in the Champion point section you're actively misleading people.

I don't necessarily find his guide to be misleading, missing some things sure. But it has the essentials and green tree has always been players choice. What he put out there will easily get the job done.

Elsweyr remains my home base and favorite place to hangout and wait for a nice dragon fight, best home in the game, sugarbowl suite, best crafting area, and no loading screens entering or leaving the city.

Best crafting area? Vivec, my friend. Come and be amazed. Traders, stables, thieves guild, merchant and bank all in close proximity to the crafting tables and drop off point. Been running my dailies there since Morrowind dropped. I’ve never looked back.

It might be fun to see Shadowstrike farming video as there are none that show the entire process and discuss/analyze what happens when and why (or what didnt happen). The description says "invisible after a short delay" and I have never fugured out how long that is and if it is a constant delay value or randomly assigned (i.e., fom 0 to 3 seconds or based on ticks?) I have heard there can be some RNG that can occur during the Shadowstrike process but im not sure exactly what the result is or could be. Does anyone know more about this?

Shadowstrike + Sithis Touch set = Sweet Assassinations. That’s about it, really. But it is fun snuffing out someone on a crowded city street and then getting away Scot-free.

Personal view: "reduce the cost of sneak" feels completely worthless to me. I have put 0 points into stamina and 0 points into anything that would 'reduce the cost of sneak' and I never have see a situation where it mattered. Question: the 'see through witness and guards through walls' what does that look like without walls? I get the benefit of seeing through walls but some of these zones are dark and I will straight up not realize there is a person standing next to a rock, not behind the rock, just next to it. An outline on them would help me a ton too.
