This is a very good tier list! As someone else said in the comments I agree that NB nowhere near DK and it's annoying when people put them in the same tier. DK is basically THE CLASS if we talk PvP although NBs are good too just quite not at that extend So 1 place I'm 100% agree Then I'd personally put stam arc Then magblade and stamsorc Then stamden, stamblade, stamplar Magden I like a lot and think it's super fun but it requires either wretched or Breton to even be able to play it (at least in bgs) cuz sustain and also unfortunately it doesn't have the best damage but from the fun standpoint it's great Honestly stamcro with dot meta setup can be quite good as well Mag sorc , plar, cro I don't really like that much, they are basically the weaker versions of stam of the same class

Nb has the highest ceiling imo. You can easily outmanuever people if you really want to by using the the shade. Incap is better than corrosive because its far cheaper and once you see that green glow, you just bail for a second and then reengage. Dk doesn't have merciless resolve. Whip is powerful, but nothing to really compete with a 1 button evade any single target and 100% crit, incap 20% bump do dps, merciless and a unblockable/dodge able cc (fear).

if dk survive this, wich good player can easilly do if ping let it, he break free from incap, rolldodge bow proc and use coag for 70%+- amount of health. And even if mersiless proc was not dodged it is not garanreed that this combo will be enough for killing, just 1 coagulating blood (in rare situation 2) will be enough. I dont even remember that i had killed by nb (exceptions:bomers and vampgankers) when i was on dk(had only bloodspawn and trickery for survivability). Gankers are annoying, bombers are annoying. But it is a neccesairy evil to counter ballgroups and very tanky players. But it's just my opinion. I'm a semi-noob in PvP

What race would you play on MagDK beside Khajiit?

You can really play any race on it, but maybe I'd prefer dunmer for the simple fact that having higher stamina pool means you get more stamina back from Battle Roar passive as well as you won't go over your maximum off-stat as easily when you ult. If you want to meme around dunmer also allows you to stand in lava a lot better and chain people into it. Small things though - you'll be fine on other races too (maybe not stamina ones like bosmer, redguard etc).

Is this based on the best setup you could do aka comparing the DK build, or is this every iteration of the stup overall? I started the game again as a magDK using Force Pulse as a spammable, a more PvP centric build So I'm just wandering if I managed to make a "metaslave" character lol

The list is based on the maximum potential off classes - off meta setups don't really factor in much on the rankings. There are some people playing ranged mDK and it's definitely viable, but it wouldn't make it to the top of the list imo (lacks the insta kill potential of a DK using Shattering Rocks/Molten Whip)

@@Decimus Thanks for the reply. I just found myself fond of the debuffing from all of the elements and in Battlegrounds it's great group pressure. Also I try to keep the character in a "Modern Dragonpriest" flavor anyways

Magicka arcanist is really better that the stamina one? Which one has better sustain?

They're pretty much the same honestly, but having a few more points into magicka lets you manage resources better in my opinion as it splits costs more evenly between stam/magicka (runeblades/runemend/beam becoming magicka cost) and makes sustaining easier, since having the majority of your abilities cost stamina *and* dodging, CC breaks etc is tough on the stam sustain. That said, there's a lot of setups (such as bashcanist) that kinda have to be played as a "stamcanist" due to set 2-4p providing stamina and so on. In the end, I rank them kinda equal with maybe a *slight* edge for magcanist overall.

I did consider healing as well for the tier list - if it was *only* about healing (in a purely random pvp scenario) then Warden would probably top the list though.

@@gunjack2064 I've seen Arcanist & Sorc healers do well so that'd probably be A tier, with NB following up at B tier & DK/Necro at C. Things change a bit in organized group, but that'd be my healer tiers for random PvP. Maybe I'll make some more in-depth video on that some day when I've played all of them (only got a NB & DK healer... and DD warden with Polar Wind that isn't a "healer" but heals for more on average than either one of them).

Website has the current mDK/stam DK builds (gonna be adding a more of a hybrid max health approach as well). Stam DK might get better with Way of Fire over Trickery this patch, next thing to test for me at some point.

You absolutely should disregard it for U41 - this video was published in January before U41 was on PTS & was meant for last patch (U40). Thanks for bringing this up though, I'll change the title to avoid any confusion.

@@Decimus How would you rate Magicka Sorcerer nowadays though? Compared to U40, the main thing that changed was the heal on Conjured Ward, which helped a lot. But I still see just as many free kill Magsorcs as before.

When running Corrosive you don't want to build around pen, you already get 100% pen on all direct attacks. On more leap oriented builds (I have a max health DK for that) you'll still want to stack it relatively high though.

Maybe just play NB on Ravenwatch - in an environment, that shows the whole truth about what a given class looks like. I wonder how quickly you will abandon NB for any other "S++" classes.

I don't really care what gets nerfed and what doesn't, I play every class. Nightblade is ranked as it is because there is a lot of scenarios when the survivability just isn't there and your damage is always counterable. Stam Sorc, Arcanist & DK have less of these situations overall, and in case of stam sorc & DK their damage is a lot less counterable (latter's being almost uncounterable if played properly).
