My only regret about leaving ESO behind is that I never got to really experience PVP (and specifically bombing) - the CP grind was a wild turnoff as was the almost full reliance on RNG to farm some sets and items. Still a blast to watch and I enjoy the content regardless, even tho I returned to my other games instead of ESO. Keep slayin em tho! GGzzzzzzz!

There's barely any RNG involved anymore. They changed the system completely. Now you have a sticker book that permanently keeps any loot you find even after sold/deconstructed, a transmute system to change weapon traits on demand, and a guaranteed loot system for dungeons/arenas/trials that gives you a brand new item every time you run it - so no pointless dungeon runs. It's made the game completely more accessible for people who don't have endless time to farm.

Any master 2h should work, the perfected axe and sword are just the most optimal. If you don't have any master 2h, you could try frontbarring vicious death and using both a full monster set (like Balorgh) and a mythic (like markyn).

To be fair you could play smallscale, then no need to worry about bombing, or just not stacking tightly with others. As for the BG's and your archer problem, if you're playing DK or warden you have access to projectile reflect and on anyone else you could run S&B and defensive posture to similar effect. The whole bomber thing was intentional ever since years ago when it started and new people come into this game every years and group up in pvp.. spam LFG!!!! In the zone chat then team up with 30 people and Zerg down everything in their path. But complain when their entire team gets killed that easy. The irony is spilling out the seams here. Also the same people are the ones who complain every year about the sate of pvp in eso. ESO is not the problem. They are.
