Taking your advice and joining paid guilds in major cities is the best thing I've done in ESO.

Bouncing around from city to city, town to town has found me some awesome deals on really good sets. Especially on console where it's tedious to price your wares if you're not familiar with trading, people just post without really researching it's value.

can confirm. I flip tons of stuff on xbox EU for good profits. Seriously most of my millions come from buy in shit spot / sell in top spot. (flipping). Gotta now the markets though, and bring time...

I'm on Xbox, primarily EU but I have a character on NA. What baffled me when I first got on NA was dues. Not a single guild I'm in on EU has dues and I'm in 3 big ones with traders in alliance capitals, Belkhart, Vivec City. We have voluntary raffles and donations. That's an easier ceiling to break than being a new player on a NA server and being faced with dues right from the get go. Man I just levelled to level 10 where do you think I will be able to find 10k for a due while I need money for bag space upgrade, bank upgrade, stuff to research, stuff for writs. Then there's the economy which is nuts because everything costs an arm and half of a leg.
@oSTYNCLSYo11 ай бұрын
The dues are weekly, for the better location usually you have to sell 500k minimum a week. Easy if you know what to sell.

I’m new to the Xbox server came over from PlayStation after a small break, one thing I have noticed on the traders in MH traders or just traders in general is that there’s not much on them. I went to all traders just last night looking for Wrath and only two of them had any pieces. I went looking for bi stat magicka food and found recipes but hardly any stacks of premade. I guess the sale priority is more so on motif and such, it’s just strange to me that at least so far common purchase items like ingredients are lacking on this server.

@skulpturostone462111 ай бұрын
Actually, if you have a trading guild, you can capture the keep for thst guild. There will be an additional line when you speak to vendor to by some balistas. When the keep is yours, you and any other players now see another additional line in dialogue. Now your guild trade stock is available for all the players of your alliance. Ba-da-boom. Each guild can have only one keep.

You're close but not correct on most counts. Honestly Arttea covered this topic far more accurately imo. The zone does matter but one should be considering the customer in each instance. Who is shopping there and why? Would they be willing to pay a convenience tax for this item? I can sell potions and food in Wayrest for more than I could in a thieves refuge because it's convenient. Those people are on their way to an undaunted dungeon and just need to grab something quick. I can sell mats in Vivec for a little more too. In other words it's not just foot traffic - you need to consider who they are and why they're there. But to your best point though, you should definitely be considering who YOU are as a seller and how your playstyle and goals match with the guild and customer base in that area. Love your vids Jake, no disrespect intended, just happen to disagree.

Yes, Arttea made great gold videos. However, hers are very PC specific, as that is her platform. Jake is on xbox (thankfully) and makes GREAT videos that are occasionally xbox specific. Trading, of course, is very platform oriented, due to add-ons. Keep up the good work, Jake!

I am in three trading guilds. One in Vivec, one in Eldenroot and one in Summerset. And it's pretty amazing how much better the trader in Vivec is. For example, I recently placed the Perfect Roe with all three for the same price (relatively low). Sold in Vivec within 3 minutes. In Eldenroot the next day and in Summerset two days later.

I actually do go from trader to trader in each zone each day. Yes TTC is one option. But at the same time, a deal could be listed anywhere at anytime. Depending on how many deals I find in a session, I can get through all the overland traders in roughly 3 to 4 hours.

I don't know what it is with yu NA dudes, but on xbox EU I have never, never never never, and would never, never never never, pay "dues". Seriously, I am a top trader and I create serious cashflow in top spot guilds. I pay taxes on sales and from time to time I donate. The guilds I am in are all top spot guilds (Mournhold / Elden Root) since years and I never payed anything for it besides sales tax and some donations. Never mandatory dues, and I never would. With the cashflow I create they should pay me to sell in their guild, seriously...
