I have never dreaded something so much before in my life, but i knew this had to be done in order to move on in my healing journey. because there is more than one type of surgery to repair a hiatal hernia, my surgeon wanted me to have an esophageal manometry done beforehand so he can determine what approach to take.
this was honestly a very painful and uncomfortable experience, forcing my body to do things it naturally did not want to. but it is over with. i knew the only way through it was through it so, we got through it!
i will share the results once i receive them and will continue to take you along this long, long journey to recovery... even though i still don't fully know what is wrong with me. i pray that this is a big step forward and having my hernia fixed will alleviate my gastrointestinal issues.
thank you for being my emotional support!
besides the short post-op recovery, in this video you'll also see some yummy and healthy meals as well as a fun new home update, the start of my home office! i got my new amazon desk together and i love it (aside from the putting-it-together part)!
