The view of Seth being a foreigner is reminiscient of the Egyptian mythology of Set, God of foreigners and the desert. Since Israelites were foreigners in Egypt (Exodus), we may speculate some link between Set and Proto Seth, in an Anti Egyptian national foundation myth of Israel. Hence the link of Canaan-Cainites-with Egypt, slavery, oppression and national humiliation. There is also a link to Shia Islam as they view Seth as the first Imam revealed by Prophet Adam.

Whether it’s in regards to John Dee & Kelley, Gnosticism, Agrippa, Cabbalistic practices, various Sefers or otherwise it’s always rewarding. I find myself frequently anticipating the next video. I’m looking forward to more extrapolation on the history, and your personal interpretation, of Enoch which you mentioned briefly during a prior livestream (as well as more obscure or unknown esoteric topics that I’m entirely unaware of).

From both a metaphysical and philosophical standpoint, gnosticism is really fascinating. It's kind of a shame it was marginalized so early on, but I suppose we still have more sources on it than we do about some ancient religions and philosophical disciplines.

It would’ve been amazing to have been a fly on the wall during the ancient rituals of the Gnostics. Perhaps in the coming years, we’ll find more details on them (and perhaps more of the Gospel of Mary); as just recently a fragment of the New Testament composed in Syriac was discovered!

So I just got the chance to put my money where my mouth is here and wanted to say thank you as well. As someone who unfortunately has little in the way of formal education but am completely obsessed with much of the subject matter you tackle I often end up feeling pretty stupid to be honest. However short, your videos make a lot of concepts far more approachable, easier to TRULY understand than a lot of literature (kind of like how if you want to be able to make heads or tails of grimoires you have to have read a lot of grimoires...)does. Not to mention a healthy dose of humor... So again, thank you for what you do and I very much look forward to future content!

Smooth as butter doc, I loved this. Thank you for keeping a bit of alchemy. I suspect the Gnostics were not using meditation, rather they discovered some form of DMT. I paused when you mentioned Seth was the first to essentially gain the knowledge that the spirit is not of this world. But if I'm not mistaken, (and it may be from a non-Sethian gnostic tradition), aren't the first to have gained that knowledge Adam and Eve? I've definitely heard somewhere that, unlike the orthodox traditions, the serpent of the Garden of Eden should be considered a messiah (an incarnated Sophia) for delivering Adam and Eve from the chains of enforced ignorance placed on them by the Elohim or Yaldabaoth + the Archons. Which tradition is this perspective from? May be a good subject for a future video... Thanks for the content btw!
