I have it. Very smooth but a couple things I noticed. 1. high speed the battery vibrates and makes a good amount of noise (unless your back hand is holding it) 2. No lock feature 3. Trigger accidentally gets hit and slings a lot (from accidental pressure) due to its location. Trigger lock, alternate trigger location. Assuming that will come version 2

Even as someone who only works on my own cars, I found out real quick that I needed a 3” to pair with my 5” Duetto. The LHR75E has served me well. By the way, 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 on the Tudor GMT Pepsi. Big fan of Rupes and Tudor.

Hey Todd 👍 Just a quick question if you don't mind? One thing putting me off buying this is the fact i can't see it having as much torque and power as the LHR75E. I find even on speed 1 it's got tonnes of power. How does this compare?

How many pads of foam yellow and microfibre yellow would be enough?
@Esotericdetail Жыл бұрын
It depends on what you're working on. For most cars (polishing only the small areas, of course) you'd want a minimum of 6 each.
@jetsetjoey Жыл бұрын
How long does a fully charged battery last with consistent use?
@Esotericdetail Жыл бұрын
Depends on speed, pressure, etc. It will vary, but the battery will re-charge faster than it will discharge so with 2 batteries, you'll always have a fully charged one available to swap out.

Hello! I’ve been in the market I was looking at the Flex PXE 80 only because it has all the 1-3 inch backing plate. Now I’ve seen this looking for recommendations I’m a DIY this would be for my truck and motorcycle. Thank you

This has a higher level of performance. As for the small 1", there are very few areas that you can even use that on. We work on a little bit of everything, and rarely, rarely, rarely ever have a need for our small polisher (Nano iBrid).
@chrisdogmlb Жыл бұрын
If you make sure that the machine is turned off, and you set it on the back side, does it rest like the lhr75e or other bigfoot polishers to keep the pad upright?
@Esotericdetail Жыл бұрын
It does not. We typically hang it from the side of a work cart when not in use, or simply lay it on its side on top of a clean towel.
@Enonymouse_2 жыл бұрын
I hope it has a module that allows corded use like the Nano, that is a really good addition to it.
@ItsRyan.2 жыл бұрын
It does, If you look at the graphic on the card in the box it shows both forms. Though i don’t think that mains cord is released yet. I could be wrong i think it’s 2023

Does the trigger lock in the ON position?
@Esotericdetail2 жыл бұрын
No, but with the way you hold it, you don't even have to think about it as it isn't a "strain" like it can be on other machines.

Anybody have this polisher and having issues with the battery? the original batteries receptors broke inside which is sketchy as I shock it and it almost arced. Rupes did replace it but now the new one of two that was replaced did the same. I am gently now putting in the polisher and or the charger. would love to hear if this wide spread or maybe my issue.
@Esotericdetail Жыл бұрын
No issues that we have heard of, and we use ours in the shop every single day with no issues.
@toddmartin2k2 жыл бұрын
For a DIY guy looking to buy 1st polisher, would you recommend this one or the LHR 15? Thanks.
@Esotericdetail2 жыл бұрын
Ultimately you will need both. But if you can only do one to start, you'll want the 15 since you don't want to use this 3" machine on large sections.

I was at SEMA last week and asked the same question. The guy from RUPES said this unit has more power than the corded version. It's a really nice tool.

The performance is greater on the Rupes machine. How would you define "more versatile"?
@blkfxbb3272 жыл бұрын
@@Esotericdetail Well already made a decision and got a flex with an APS extension kit on the way and a 2” backing plate vs a only 3” only use on rupes, my first cordless so far so good just waiting on kit.
