Dude. Guitarcenter has these (Ec1000) used for around $600. They have a beautiful red quilt with the abalone binding. No floyd, though But if you don't mind not having the floyd, I would check it out. And call the store. Maybe they can knock off a little or pay for shipping. You never know. Thanks for the comment. Actually, I wouldn't know how to use a fiddle. My grandfather had one. He was good with it and his Banjo. I don't think I have what it takes to play a fiddle, but I have always a banjo would be cool. The blue green Quilted Maple is amazing. Thanks for the comment. Take care.

Nice guitar 🎸. I've been thinking about getting one but I'm not sure if I want the EMG pickups with the Floyd Rose or the one with the Fishman pickups but they don't have one with Fishman pickups and the Floyd Rose. Maybe ESP will come out with one.

They have several with the Floyd and Seymour Duncans. But yeah, I can't find any with the Fishman Fluence and Floyd. I changed my guitar pickups out to EMG's on almost all of my guitars. But I used the quick connects. I wouldn't even begin to know how to wire the Fishmans. Think about it or the Duncans. They are still good pickups. Thanks for the comment. Take care.

How's that fr1000 holding up? Do you notice any difference between OFR and fr1000? And does it stay in tune after a heavy dimebomb? I mean they are basically the same thing but people say that the knife edges on fr1000 get dull faster than the OFR. Also that dbz bird of prey hardshell case in the back caught my eye :) Love your guitar reviews btw. Keep em coming.

To be honest, I haven't used an OFR that is made in Germany in over 25 years. I really like the 1000 models that are made in Korea. The only problems that I have had were with the Specials. Have you checked out my Zero Gravity guitar reviews? I show the locking saddles that stripped from a Special. Did you see the review I did for the Bird of Prey guitar? The case went to it. @@Larryjo194 Yeah. I commented on the dbz bird of prey review video and said that I have the same guitar, which is cool cuz you dont find those kinds of guitars anymore. Its absolutely one of a kind also its completely out of stock I guess. There were a handful of them on ebay and reverb and all of them has been sold. You say you havent used ofr in 25 years but according to the specs of the dbz bird of prey, it has original floyd rose. You can check that out if you want. 3 months back I bought a schecter with fr special(damien platinum fr s) and omg I literally sold the guitar after a month of messing around, just because of that piece of junk. And dbz bird of prey was my first experience with ofr and it's a huuuuge step up for a player like me.

@Murat Öpöztürk Actually, they use the term Original Floyd Rose for the 1000s and other versions. But the only real Original Floyd Rose is the one that is made in Germany. A lot of people make this mistake. To me, I use the term Floyd Rose, and the Specials are the Specials. I will be completely honest and say the best tremolo system that I have ever used is the Ibanez Edge and the Lo Pro. In my eyes, they are superior and made in Japan. Thanks for all of your comments. Of course you may. I always say leave comments. I bought it 2 years ago on Reverb for 725 plus shipping and taxes, which put it around 900. Currently, they have another one on reverb for 950. Same floyd and blue quilt top. Check it out if you have the cash. I spent months looking for this guitar at a good price. 950 is not bad, really. Please comment. I like chatting. Appreciate the advice! I just placed the order from SW, it's a non "t" version which I'm happy with. Doesnt have the FR which I'm okay with too. Your video makes the guitar look so much better than SW (they should pay you a commission haha). So washed out on their site. But I was able to select from 4 versions which was cool and it had the weights of each listed, I picked the lightest (7lbs). My epiphone les paul is heavy and thick, wanted to try something more comfortable (hopefully) since I play kicked back in a big chair so often. Also, notice you like cards too haha! I'm a collector, not so much football, but baseball and GPK's. Take it easy, thanks again for the video!

@gusblackhand5425 Good luck. I have to say that I understand getting new over used. But I just like the used guitars so much more. I weird like that. I do collect baseball cards. I am selective on which one, though. I prefer Bowman cards. Because you never know when player will blow up. And if you have his 1st cards. That's money baby. Ha. The ec1000s are so thin and light. But they started making the T models because some people love the heavy Les Paul style. Dude it is way better than a Les Paul. Thanks for the comment. Take care.

Actually, the guitar on the stand behind me is an Rg450exb. I did a video of it. The Esp Ltd is on a higher level. I paid 800 for it and 250 for the Ibanez. I really like both guitars a lot. But it is hard to compare them. Also, since the styles are different, comparing them doesn't seem fair. Both play great, though. Good question. I have a ton of guitars. @sergeykichuk2586 I did a review of an Ibanez RG370AHMZ that was beautiful and played as good as any prestige that I used to own. I don't spend money on Prestige Ibanez's anymore. They are made in the same factories in Indonesia as the cheaper models. Thanks for the comment. Take care, brother.

@@Larryjo194 thank you so much, the newer models which are only indonesian actually suck, their look is much less beautiful because the side inlays are removed, finish and colors are pale and it just full of flaws, unlike the older korean ec-1000, which is absolutely a flawless lifetime guitar! Such a pitty ESP doesn't care for LTDs anymore.👎🏻

@The Dreamer I did not know that. That is unfortunate. It seems to be the way a lot of companies are going. I absolutely agree about the Korean quality, and I said it. They are great. Check out my other videos, and you will see my favorite guitars are made in Korean. Supposedly, the Korean makers went to Indonesia, and they are using the same equipment and techniques that the Korean factories used. The Emg pickups are internally shielded. They are really quiet compared to passive pickups. I believe the guitar has shielding, but it isn't needed if you ask me. Thanks for the comment. Take care.

1/8 of the fretboard is abalone. Makes the neck look too skinny. Metal oriented companies like ESP, Schecter and Ibanez have no taste
