Bought a new guitar recently, and thought I'd break it in by doing my first ever review. Totally new territory for me but it was fun putting this one together! Let me know your thoughts, and what I can do better next time! 👊

I liked the flowers in the back, that was a nice touch haha. The Ibanez RG neck is very easy to play but once you start playing an ESP then the Ibanez neck will become to thin. Great video duder

BIG FLOWER ENERGY 😂 The neck on this guitar is great! Definitely on first impressions I think I preferred my Ibanez neck but it's not by a lot! By next week I'll probably have changed my mind you're right hahaha 😂

Nice one broseph! We have similar ideas for review videos it seems! Straight to the point, got all the info in there 👍 I've probably told you before, but I was stupidly surprised by my LTD 7 String, fretwork is impeccably neat and it's got a surprisingly thin neck for a 7 string, tried an OG Schecter Loomis model and it felt horrible! My band mate has an Eclipse(same as Melissa) which feels equally good to play. Nothing will be old school Iby oz wizard 1 for me though😉

Yessss I remembered how killer your solar review was so I tried to capture a few elements of that 👊 Yeah man I thought it’d be more honest to say what necks I do prefer and how it compares - maybe I should’ve stressed that I’m actually really impressed by the neck/ build on this though, probably after a few weeks I’ll prefer it! 😂 I’m definitely using it for recordings now so it’ll be a good test! 👊

I just watched this from the Link at Tweet ESP.Thats one sweet guitar n some badass playing too! I always struggled with my drum machines to sync to my jams rather than me having to sync to the drum machine lol.I now just lay out intro drums then count bars n throw in a fill so I know when to change up the rythem etc..im sure u guys know what I mean its not like a live drummer that says OH that's a cool jam n just starts drumming to it..thats half my battle when making home instrumentals is the damn drums!! These new looper pedals are cool but then there's multi effects with beats and ALSO Recorders with built in guitar effects n beats.Its really great but I started with 4 track cassette n Boss drum machine then finally got a Yamaha mini disc 8 track recorder-MD 8 so I'm looking to jam again n record as its been a few years n now my Drum 16 track sequencer no longer works so I need to think how I'm gonna do this with so many options..i mean I can't afford a Fractal audio guitar effects but I need a new effects pedal too as my Digitech Rp12 no longer works either 😡 if u guys have any kind of suggestions for under 500$ for effects and any other suggestions for Drum machine or just get the multitrack recorder with built in effects n beats..Idk anymore but that's a nice axe right there.I already have an ESP custom made for me by ESP custom in Manhattan.Same guitar as George Lynch instructional video.The See thru orange over quilted maple but went with black reversed kamikaze headstock,GL screamin demon pickups, Floyd rose n a bunch of other tweaks I added for 2400$ so I'm good there 😁💥 Awesome thanks guys..Amazing video n Jam!!!

Hey dude, thanks for checking out the video! There’s some really great drum softwares online now like EZDrummer or Superior Drummer which do a lot of the hard work for guitarists nowadays, they have a huge preset drum loops library and a ton of beats you can throw together and get writing. I’d definitely recommend checking them out on KZbin, since I bought SD3 it’s been so much easier to write drum parts! SD3 is probably the most expensive but the library is so huge it’s worth it! Hope that helps man! 👊

Awesome review! Ive been waiting for a review on the JM haha Is the neck narrow? I sold my horizon cos i prefferred my ibanez neck profile as it was slightly wider

The neck is actually really comfortable but it does feel a little narrower than the Ibanez! I think it’s because the wizard necks are flatter, and under my fingers they feel faster ! But tbh I’ve played ESP’s with equally as fast necks so i guess it’s all preference! I know Josh spec’d this to his preferences so I’m sure it’s based on what he’s used over the years, maybe next week I’ll prefer this neck hahah!
