What a great idea of card force! I love it! Instead of using a z-fold wallet, I use a deck of normal cards to perform this trick, with Prediction 1 at the 7th(any position you like from 1st to 10th) position from the top and Prediction 2 at the 7th position from the bottom. Ask the spectator "My favorite number from 1 to 10 is 7, what about yours?" Then force the card. Finally, it's just up to the way you take the deck out of the box, face-up or face down.

Great flexible trick ! For the reveal i use a deck full of blank cards and prediction 1 between them. Prediction 2 is written on the outside of the deck box.

Great effect ! I have a little suggestion for this trick. The first card is a short card. In this way the spectator can cut the cards. The prediction 1 can be written on the other side of the envelope and signed on the list of symbols. The prediction 2 can be written only on one piece of paper inside the envelope. In this way you can have two "clean" out ! 😉😃

A lovely simple prediction effect. The following are a just a few optional enhancements. Firstly rather than a z wallet wallet use an innocent looking black money envelope with a false back and with a hole in the centre of the front. Hide both reveal cards in the back of the envelope beforehand. In the extracting of the relevant reveal card transfer it from the back to the front (the internal false back is cut an inch or so lower than the full depth of the envelope to allow for this unseen transfer from back to the front within the envelope) before lowering the envelope to the horizontal and pulling out the card fully from the front where it will be seen cleanly as being face up inside through the medium of the hole. The envelope will be seen to be clearly empty after the extraction. Stress that you are going to "transfer cards to the bottom of the packet" beforehand. "Call out any number between one to ten to decide the card". Then in the event of an direct hit simply transfer cards as you count them (openly showing the cards individually as you do so) from top face down or top face up stopping on their numbered card and taking it away from the other cards.That is to say you take the card away on the number as you come to it rather than transfer it onto the bottom. It is their exact numbered card and so everything seems perfectly fair. You did what you said you would do. In the event of an indirect hit (one less or more) transfer that amount of cards from top face down or top face up as required and then look at the resultant top card. We might even have the person do this. An amount of cards equal to their chosen number was transferred and so everything seems fair and it matches perfectly what you said you were going to do before hand. The transferring methodology also disguises the total number of cards present in the packet. Since you asked the spectator to choose BETWEEN one and ten one and ten will not be chosen. No need for list.

@@totallymagic You are most welcome Mark. Your idea of a horse race themed presentation works particularly well with the above methodology. The transfers from above to below can be made to represent hedges/hurdles to be jumped by the horses. The spectator decides. The nth horse wins or the horse after the nth hurdle/hedge wins. Just adapt the patter on the fly.

Great effect, Where can I get those cheap z-fold wallets please? BTW, what I will do if they say '2' is deal the two cards then simply put the balance of the packet on top, then turn over the top card, simple, smooth and does not arouse suspicion.

You can put any symbol. I think I just drew another Cross. It can be anywhere in the packet.

Yes you could spell, and I've done that in the past, but as you say it may come across as appearing too forced. My worry is people will wonder why would you spell a number and not just use the value???
