Nice and informative video! I want to have an idea if this could work on much larger objects, like heavy metal safes. I was searching for it and landed on this video. The safe is having a powder coating and I want to detect if anyone touches it.

Really glad I found your channel. Planning to make a low intensity LED lamp over our changing table for late nights when we don’t want the room lights on. I would like the switch to be something big and metal and this tutorial is all I think I’ll need. Thanks! How is the escape room puzzles coming?

Thanks for watching! That sounds like a good application of the touch pins. The escape room puzzles are going great. We opened our second room in September with 4 Raspberry Pi’s and 11 ESP32 microcontrollers all communicating together. Opening our third room in a couple weeks which will be lower tech but with lots of fun physical puzzles for Christmas.
