I appreciate that you included the losing streak and did not cut it from the video. As much as it hurts to see it, it also reminds me (and I guess all of us) that such streaks can happen to anyone and that we can't draw perfect hands with perfect answers every game.

To be fair in the second half of the video he was on really high tilt, and made at least one significant mistake in almost every game that resulted in him losing. Which I FEEL in my bones, when I'm tilting I make mistakes and rage at the shuffler too haha. But he could have won almost all of the games he lost if he had played better (which, again to be fair, is a lot easier to say than do when you are tilted)

I am in that "weird" group -- I only play/watch Standard, but I haven't played since February. For me, it comes down to this: * I don't like watching people play cards I've never seen before, and I don't like the digital-only effects in Alchemy. So that's why I'm only interested in Standard. * I haven't played in a while because it's just not fun for me anymore. The matchmaker and the shuffler are just too much to deal with. They make off-meta brewing nearly impossible. * I still love watching your Standard content because you're awesome, not sure how else to explain it. I just love your thought process and your stream of consciousness.

As for the conversation of watching vs playing: I realized about a year ago that a multiplayer, competetive game where, if I start to divide up the number of games where I'm actually having fun, and the mixture of crushing defeat, one-sided games, salt, and general mana screw/flood makes that number as low as it is in magic, and how many of *those* are just "I'm having fun because I'm winning." Then there is no good reason to spend the outrageous amount of money Magic costs to play. But watching you is free, and still compelling, and doesn't require me to drive halfway across town of a very specific time and night of the week to participate, or to go back to my days in online tcgs that I got away from for a goddamned reason, no matter how much I liked some of those decks I brewed in Eternal.

I play arena standard on and off, switching every couple of months. I play paper standard and pioneer every weekend. I'd watch explorer or historic content. I sometimes watch historic brawl, but I don't enjoy it as much as 60 card formats

There are just too many 4 drops in my deck (Jace, deluge, depopulate). 4 lay down arms 4 spirited companion 4 make dissappear 4 soul partition 3 ertai scorn 4 deluge 4 depopulate 4 Jace 2 4WW planeswalker 4 mirrex 4 cycling tri lands 2 strip mine lands 17 other lands Try it….it delivers a beating.

Hello Covert go blue & community, I'm not sure if you'll read this, but i have a request that might be fun. I'm looking for some "Bonkers" decks - without banned cards!! So what came to my mind is stuff like timewarp, and the 2 mana blue card that lets you win if your affinity to blue is greater than your remaining cards in your library combined with deleting the deck. But i am a magic noob compared to covert & this community, so maybe some of you have cool ideas? I'm currently heavily leaning towards some blue control/timewarp/wincons deck for this banless format.
