Beautiful video. I remember walking from Espinal to Zabaldika in April 2023. It was day 2 of walking the Camino Frances for me, having started in St. Jean Pied de port the previous day. It was the only day of my entire camino that it rained all day. The walk down into Zubiri was treacherous. I heard later that some people had to be brought to the hospital after sustaining injuries from falling on that particular section. When I reached Zubiri, I was envious of the other perigrinos who were staying there. However, I decided to carry on to Zabaldika where I stayed in a Donativo albergue for the night. What a great experience that was. I'm going to walk the entire Camino again next May/June

yes. yes it is. That second day from Roncesvalles to Urdaniz for us was al most as hard as SJPDP to Roncesvalles. Woof. When did you do this? Our Roncesvalles to Urdaniz and Urdaniz to Pamplona was September 9 and 10 2023. Cheers

Re: Day 2. How was the vending machine coffee? I ask for the route you have followed so far is what I will be taking in November of this year. I followed Sarah Williams Camino. She took your route. The difference is that you two are kinda doing a W.H. Davies by '...taking the time to look and stare '.Plus you are uncovering lots of things. I love the soundtracks, your conversations and your style. You are both so compelling that I am binge watching your channel as apposed to going uptown to the centre of Edinburgh on a Friday night. Hmm. Your videos; a cup of tea - we're civilised like that, here in Britain - and just relaxing like some sleepy headed Bing Crosby. Thank you for the perfect end to a not-so-bad week.

In a previous video, you asked what those white and red stripes mean. Those indicate the GR 65, a trail that is part of a network of trails called the Grande Randonnée which run Europe. Part of the GR network intersects with the Camino for a bit.

The whole Camino Francés is part of a GR. Is called E3 and it goes from Instambul to the Cabo de San Vicente in the southwestern tip of the Iberian Peninsula.

Why wasn't the market pleased to see you? I used to sell vinyl , rare cassettes and rare books. I was fully prepared to marry every customer in order for them to purchase....anything!! So the store worker has a very strange attitude. ( Hmmmm. Maybe the theory of commerce is yet to arrive in Spain ).
