CC doesn't need the money and just risks wearing herself out and getting injured, especially after the long college to pro non-stop trudge. She'd be better off taking care of her body for a long career and using the off-season to further develop her strength, fitness, and basketball skills, while serving her sponsors (who are making her rich) interests and doing good things for others as she wishes to.
