Back when ESPN and SportsCenter were both very respectable. It probably never will go back to this. Highlights and actual analysis of games. Not anything else.

Finally Passed 4th Grade and heading into Summer to do Summer Workouts, Playing GBC Pokemon Blue, Sega Dreamcast like WWF Attitude, Sonic Adventure.

I was in 3rd grade at the time, just turned 9 two days before this. Still had a couple weeks of school to go before the year was out, and was looking forward to my Devils play in the Cup finals (ended up going to game 2 of that series)

Late 90s-early 2000s we're truly the golden age of cable TV and sports in general. Watching players like Mike Alstott make me realize HOW much better it was than now. Player safety is paramount, yes, but it's the money involved that has ruined sports.

I know it was late May but an entire SportsCenter without any Football news. Nowadays you'd get minicamp updates nonstop on SportsCenter.
