Seeing them team up for 2024 Olympics was legendary! Got to see all 3 dominate. LeBron was the rock and stayed consistent throughout keeping the team alive, KD's comeback game was crazy and gave the team a boost, Steph coming alive in the semi final and finals game to cement their victory! Legendary. They all got to shine and showcase what makes them future 1st Ballot HOF.

I knew nothing about nba in 2010 to that point i was thinking that Michael Jordan was still playing at that time. I ask my friends who were the best players in nba and they told me: Bron, Wade, Kobe, Dirk etc.. So i watched them here and video pops on the right "Steph Curry Rookie Year Highlights" so i started watching. I liked what i saw from him and i told my friends the next day: Hey, what about Steph Curry ? They were confused and they ask like who tf is that.. I knew at that time that he'll be good, but not this great tho.

@@cvnavalew3 Brother, by 2009 LeBron was already a 1st team All-Defensive, 5 times All-NBA (3 first team), league MVP, league scoring champion and an Olympic gold medalist. In which possible world is that not a HOF career? If LeBron retired in 2009 he'd 100% be in the HOF

Only six players have made multiple game-winning buzzer beater shots in the NBA playoffs. Who’s made the most? Entering the 2023 postseason, there have been 51 game-winning buzzer beaters throughout NBA playoff history, at least according to a Stacker analysis of Basketball-Reference data. Incredibly, James has nearly 10 percent of them all by himself. This category includes the very first playoff game-winning buzzer beater in 1957 and goes all the way through the 2022 playoffs when two were scored. In total, Basketball Reference counts 820 game-winning buzzer beaters during the regular season and playoffs - that means just under 1.2% of all games have finished with a game-winning shot. During the 65 years between the first and last playoff game-winning buzzer beaters, only six players have managed to hit two or more such shots. Stacker ranked those six players - so keep on reading to find out who has made this elite pantheon. Here’s a quick hint: Hall of Famers Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, and Larry Bird didn’t make this list. #3. Damian Lillard (tie) - Number of playoff buzzer beaters: 2 - Years scored: 2014, 2019 - Team scored for: Portland Trail Blazers #3. Paul Pierce (tie) - Number of playoff buzzer beaters: 2 - Years scored: 2010, 2015 - Teams scored for: Boston Celtics, Washington Wizards #3. Jo Jo White (tie) - Number of playoff buzzer beaters: 2 - Years scored: 1974, 1977 - Team scored for: Boston Celtics #3. Jerry West (tie) - Number of playoff buzzer beaters: 2 - Years scored: 1962, 1963 - Team scored for: Los Angeles Lakers #2. Michael Jordan - Number of playoff buzzer beaters: 3 - Years scored: 1989, 1993, 1997 - Team scored for: Chicago Bulls #1. LeBron James - Number of playoff buzzer beaters: 5 - Years scored: 2009, 2013, 2015, 2018 (2) - Teams scored for: Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat

Curry did change the game , but for worse , he only focused on offense and not defense, in every single championship, he never was the best defender in his team, not even second or third, Curry always was the fourth best defender in his team and that's being generous. I wish CP3 would have had Curry's team and win 4 championships, because CP3 is smaller than Curry and CP3 not only was a good defender, he was an elite defender, now he would be a true inspirational player, a small player with elite defense and offense.

Lots of good young stars in the league today, but I don’t think they’ll come close to the entertainment and magic of the 2010’s. We’re very lucky to have witnessed Bron, Steph, and KD battle it out in their primes. Even today, they’re still giving us great performances.

All we keep being told is that there are no new stars stepping up but this is a prime example of why. ESPN and FS1 keep promoting these three. They don’t put any focus on the new generation at all. On any given day there might be 13 nba games but the next morning all they talk about is the lakers and maybe golden state. That’s it if they even talk basketball that isn’t wnba related. These shows tell us what’s important and yet they haven’t told any of us to care about anyone else.
@MagicMike-n6u
@MagicMike-n6u 18 күн бұрын
The adage that "Rome was not built in a day" serves as a valuable reminder that we should not expect ESPN and other broadcasters to quickly shift their focus toward new contenders who have yet to achieve notable success. The presence of established figures in the industry is significant and warrants attention; it is important to approach the emerging talents with a measured perspective, particularly in a field where youth may often lead to increased challenges.

The Boston Celtics should be the face of the league at the moment. I’m not even a Celtics fan. I root for the Cavs. But the Celtics should be the face right now. They are a premier franchise. They’ve been in the playoff spotlight for 7-8 years.
@OurQuietDesperation
@OurQuietDesperation 18 күн бұрын
@@MagicMike-n6usports is entertainment first and foremost. It’s storytelling. These shows that drive the narrative should be introducing us to the character we need to care about otherwise we’ll wake up one day and these three have retired and we haven’t invested anything in the new lead characters. If all these shows are going to do is “here’s a lakers story and then here’s a made up record LeBron set” the next generation is doomed. They decide who the stars are and they haven’t let go of this era that for the most part aren’t actual contenders for anything.
@OurQuietDesperation
@OurQuietDesperation 18 күн бұрын
@@omieg89agreed. Now just get these shows to talk about it. It’s entertainment. Tell the story of the Celtics and the Cavs and Anthony Edward’s and on and on. These shows decide what’s important and for now focusing on legends that aren’t real contenders to win anymore has them stuck in the mud.
@omieg89
@omieg89 18 күн бұрын
@@OurQuietDesperation yeah I agree. I think a major part of the problem is that the top 3 players in the NBA are without a doubt international. Jokic has no interest in being the face or being interesting plus Denver has fumbled the Nuggets roster construction. Luka is a little interesting but his constant whining to the refs is a huge turn off. Plus he’s a major ball stopper. Giannis is super interesting only because he is good in front of the cameras. The Bucks situation has gone a bit stale. It might be best for the NBA if the Bucks get back into the spotlight and face the Celtics at some point.

Not hating on Curry, but kd and bron is way above curry for being best at being individual players. Three of the are the best at their own way. If you wanna be a leader, go for lebron. If you wanna be an offball effective player, go for step. If you wanna play pure hooping with complete skill set of scoring, go for KD.
