They're not really experts because they didn't take into account how much the refs can dictate the outcome by purposefully inconsistent refereeing. They didn't see the potential of how badly that would F over the Wolves. I did. And I predicted the league would do that after game 2, with all the decisions they were giving in Denver's favor (no suspension for Murray, scheduling a 4 game break between games 2 and 3 which is the longest I've ever seen in mid-series break), and the disparity in T's given, or not given, in games 1 and 2... which just can't be explained rationally.

Well The Nuggets have returned the favor to the Timberwolves when in the 2nd game the Timberwolves whooped the Nuggets and won 106 to 80= win by 26 points, 3rd game Nuggets whooped the Timberwolves and won 117 to 90= won by 27 points !. Well, the silver lining in this disastrous effort was the fact that they acknowledged they never came close to playing their best to the game, and that they didn't play up to their abilities. Saying that about themselves regarding Game 3, and playing their best in Game 4, are two different things. Minnesota HAS to know they can't go back to Denver at 2-2. They must win game 4, which will give them a Game 6 opportunity to close out the series, if they should come out flat again in Game 5. Kudos to Mike Malone for having his team play like the defending champions they are.

After game 2 I said that's Minnesota last game in this series and I'm sticking to it. Tired of all the bandwagon media acting like Denver not legit If the Warriors or Lakers were down 0-2 the media would still be hammer riding them and saying they have a chance t come back but with Denver everyone acted like the series was over and some had the dumbness to say they would get swept. If you thought Denver was getting swept you know nothing about basketball at all. I don't think Minnesota can now adjust to Malone adjustments, he's a genius. Gobert literally can not be on the floor in this series anymore. Minnesota is cooked. They better enjoy the last hours of this 2-1 lead. Edwards is 1 man. The fact that both Murray and Malone got literally no consequences - not elections, not suspensions, not T's - for the combination of throwing a towel, then a heating pack onto court during live play, and running out onto the court pointing and screaming in a refs face... all of that simply can't be explained rationally. It makes it very clear who the league/refs are favoring. And the switch up in reffing style for Game 3 was the biggest move of them all. That was equivalent with just handing Denver a free game, when all the entailments are understood

I didn't think the inconsistent officiating could get worse after Games 1 & 2, but it did. They switched from allowing physical playoff ball (as usual, in the playoffs) WITHOUT WARNING to softer-than-regular-season reffing, knowing that would put the Wolves in early foul trouble. Then the Wolves had to back off on D for fear of fouling out the rest of the game, so Denver got open looks all night. Anyone who truly thinks the league / refs aren't doing everything they can for Denver in this series so far needs to stop and think. I could give a list of questionable decisions by the league so far, all of them pro-denver and anti-MN. Even down to little things like scheduling a 4 day break between games. And the blatant Inconsistency in the Ts handed out (or not handed out) in games 1 and 2. Murray not being suspended. And a lot more...
