Sometimes the chips just fall in the right places. He grew up in paradise loving a sport only a few have access to, then is gifted enough to be a world class musician AND still lives in paradise! Very, very lucky man!

Jack Johnson is so awesome. Got to see him in concert this summer and it’s amazing how much his voice/songs match the studio versions. And knowing his backstory and the meanings behind his songs makes me so jealous 😂

All time favorite artist. Loved learning to play his songs growing up. Brushfire is top 10 albums for me all time. I saw him play in Sacramento with two of my best friends: Jack played for 2 hours almost. It was just incredible, I’ll never forget it. Lost one of those friends shortly after but I’ll never forget that concert and what the music means to me. God bless Jack

Jack has a music that in the same time is exactly what a surf music is, is different of everything in the surf music genre.(for me new surf music genre is him). I've grown up in Brasil, where all surf music is that reggae songs with the same lycrics (respectful songs btw), but one day I've discovered Jack Johnson, he is now my favourite artist. He just make music, good music, solid songs with universal themes that you can say it's him just for hearing one note or hearing his voice. For me he's the best.

Thank you for this interview, I love his songs and some of them mean so much to me... If I could ask him one question, it would be.... "Jack, how did you find and choose Dark Water and Stars for Thicker than water's soundtrack? How did you find Natural Calamity?" There is only a few info about this band, even in the internet!

Huge Jackson Johnson fan. The new album is really bad - not catchy or rhythmic at all. The lyrics seem forced into the music and don’t fit.
