Tyson Fury on race in sports “We’re all human beings. It doesn’t matter if you’re black, white, pink or green. We share the same blood. We are humans,” Fury said. “This fight isn’t a racial war between blacks and whites. This is a fight between the two most high-performance heavyweights on the planet going toe to toe. There’s nothing racial about this fight.” In another interview session when it was suggested the victory would mean more to Wilder because it’s Black History Month in the U.S., Fury wanted no part of that. “I’m not really into all this racial thing about a black man versus a white man on Black History Month,” he said. “I refuse to go into any sort of thing about it. We are two human beings, two heavyweights on top of our game. This is not a racial war.”

I wanted Wilder to win but deep down I knew Tyson would win. Wilder looked nervous and when he got hit on the ear along with bleeding, I knew it was over. For yet another rematch would be nonsense unless Wilder changed something.

"Everyone picked Wilder" even though many people thought Fury won the first match and Deontay Wilder can't box he's only a power puncher. This isn't stunning.

Yung Hustla Wilder doesn’t outbox opponents, he can only KO them. As has been said, in some of his tougher matchups he was actually losing up until the point he dropped that big right hand hammer. It’s a legit way to win fights, but long term it doesn’t hold up. Someone like Fury comes along and puts on a clinic against you.
@michaelmixedandmagnificent91034 жыл бұрын
Stephen should be having nightmares after stating "Wilder was gonna knock Fury all the way back to the UK". He gave Fury zero respect, now he's having "nightmares".
@Chrgagg4 жыл бұрын
Micha'el; Mixed and Magnificent. It’s why Stephen a snith Kimes nothing about fighting. If he watched the last fight he would of seen a fight in which fury dominated minus two knockdowns by wilder . And the end of the fight fury found something . Wilder had no answer backing up and had no technique with his right hand completely empty with no leverage. He’s one truck pony. I do believe wilder had a bad camp and he had some injuries. He came in 15 pounds heavier probably because of it most likely . I saw fear in wilders eyes after the first

Dang, so to sum it up, Fury fought Wilder, ended in a draw, and then change things up so drastically to the point of even embracing a new style of boxing in his new training regime and alongside a new trainer, and then on the 2nd fight, caught Wilder off guard. Wow... the more I dwelve into it, the more impressed I become with the gypsy king.

What impressed me most was the way that he deflected Wilder's guard on the inside in order to set up punches.
