He had a reasonable excuse that may or may not be true. He said he took medicine before the fight that made him weak. But he had progressing parkinsons and was in his 40's. I just wished the medical report taken months prior to the fight was publicised before he got into the ring. Muhammad ali was one of the greatest warriors to exist. He was willing to fight a proffessional boxer when he could barely touch his own nose and couldn't stand on one leg
