Never been intrigued by the WNBA but it’s changing cause of this athlete Caitlin Clark. It’s not about her skin colour, her looks and not just her shooting. She's not a snowflake and ya'll are being disrespectful not only to the current players in the league but also Clark's game to keep bringing up this narrative. Vets treat her like any other rookie. Getting double-teamed and playing hard defense is a sign of respect. Just accept that there are better more experienced players than Clark and she has a lot to learn. She will be a great player, one day. But likely not right now. Indiana won 13 games last year. If they can improve that, then she did her job. I love seeing how hard a lot of the so-called "media" is desperately trying to create some kind of enmity between Clark & just about anyone (or everyone), but when you hear from the players, it always the same: "We appreciate the attention... She'll get there... But we're not gonna just lay down against her, either." A lot of new eyeballs on the league obviously had unrealistic expectations for a rookie facing off against the best of the best. She is & will be a great player, but it's a massive step up in competitive intensity.

They’re not trying to create it though they’re speaking on what they see! These girls and lie through their teeth all they about about not being jealous but people are literally witnessing it themselves because they’re watching! They’re watching all the big names from this class and watching them Not be treated as harshly as CC. Nothing wrong with competition and nobody is telling these girls to let her do what she wants just that yall stop targeting the girl and then acting like so many people are just blind dumb and casual! Because you can try to say that the average person watching at home may not know what they’re talking about and there might even be some credibility to that but when other pro athletes are speaking out that excuse is out the window!
@DJClaussen5 ай бұрын
@@gregharper6382 of course there's going to be some feelings of jealousy. No one can blame them for it. You have an entire league that has existed since '98, full of extremely talented women (many of whom have been there for over a decade), & then suddenly here's CC being touted as the poster girl before even touching the court. That's going to rankle a bit. But what I hear for most is an overriding embrace of the attention she's bringing. Rising tide, boats, etc, etc. But I see the media trying very hard to capitalize on the negativity to create click bait drama from it, too. They want a "bad girl" enemy (or several) to give them extra meat.

Cheryl Miller would be the perfect coach for Caitlin Clark! She wouldn't hold Caitlin back but would know how to use Clark better than anyone else! Caitlin is not your normal basketball player, she does things no other player has done! Clark could have had more assist and points if she wanted to, and it wasn't because Miller stopped her, she gave her the opportunity , but Clark was the one that made that decision. Clark knew they had won the game
