Agreed that strength, toughness, and durability can make up for lack of size. My only point was that weight does make a big difference in basketball. There were full double and triple teams but no zone, but you could hand check. The hand check slows the game down thats why they removed it. They had to bring zone defense otherwise it would be impossible to play defense on a good player.

MJ in his prime VS LeBron in his prime in a one on one game. If they play 10 games I believe that MJ would win about 7 out of 10. The reason I believe this is because his physical gifts combined with his killer instinct were not matched by anyone else in the league. He had a 7 foot wing span, some of the best footwork, some of the quickest defensive hands, a lightening quick step, and the ability to literally jump over his opponents while going to the basket. MJ's specialty was ONE ON ONE!!! MJ was never a good 3 point shooter, but his primary strength was at 2 point range.
