Brett Favre was asked about CTE and concussions.... He said, "My doctor asked me how many concussions I thought i had, I said maybe 10-20. He then told me, every time I got up and heard a ringing sound or had a slight moment of seeing black for even a split second, that was a concussion." After that the doctor asked him how many concussions he think he had.....he said countless. Tua hasn't just had 4 concussions....he, like most players, has had hundreds. They all have....the difference between Tua and everyone else is the part where his body actually gives a physical display on them that we're not used to seeing. This convo should be held for every NFL player, especially the qb's. They suffer concussions regularly, sometimes multiple in a single game.

@Bman32x actually (quite informed on the subject) severity of the concussion is currently measured based on the amount of time the patient spends unconscious. They are classified by grades, Tua has only had grade 1 concussions as he's never remained unconscious. There may have been 1 grade 2 concussion when he was carted off during the Bengals game. The rest have been grade 1. Don't assume someone is uninformed while simultaneously being uninformed.

Tua's career has been ruined by his pathetic head coach. He was rushed back and as noted in the video held his head and then stumbled. At that point his coach should have yanked him and he should have sat out multiple games. Sadly, he was rushed back and then had a serious concussion diagnosed. That coach is a danger to his players. Very self-centered.

We need defensive players to come out and say what they're feeling. " I don't want to be the one to kill Tua" Defensive players won't want to hit him after this. But it's their job to exactly that. Think of how Hamlin would have felt had this gone the other way. Being a man that died and survived, if he had killed tua, his life would have been ruined too. Tua and the Dolphins need to think of the bigger picture and how this affects other players as well.

@@junehanzawa5165 you’re comparing two completely different sports. Man has been fighting and dying since the dawn of time. As human species we’ve know and accepted the consequences which is possible death. Football is a relatively new sport. Since little league we are taught “proper tackle form”, “keep your head on persons outside shoulder” and “don’t lead with your head”, etc. Not to mention US 🇺🇸 promotes, encourages, and glorifies kids to play football. Combat sports goal is to literally KO your opponent. Football isn’t, at least as much anymore. If I were Tua, I'd be furious. You're basically playing with his money. Unless the NFL plans on paying him his yearly salary for the next twenty-five years as a condition of his retirement, he is getting back on that field and getting himself another contract.

Everytime you get concussion that’s a form of brain damage, the fact that he’s getting taken out by ordinary tackles is concerning. It ain’t like he’s getting a cheapshot or blindside tackle .

Aaron should go to the Raiders and reunite with Devante. Raiders need aQB and Rodgers would flourish in a stadium where you rarely have a home audience. He loves being the villain. They are just wasting games and Aarons time not giving Reddick a deal.

For the sake of the sport Tua needs to retire. If he dies on the field, I guarantee you there will be protests on the streets trying to cancel the NFL because it's "too dangerous". It's not a deadly sport, he's just too fragile.

Placed on injured reserve smh. So how many concussions is it going to take? 4-5-6-7.. seriously how many times are we going to have to look at Tua. Laying frozen stiff like a fish stick on the football field? And they keep bringing up the 💰. If I was the Dolphins ownership I'm letting Tua go. Yeah I said. This is one of those times when the organization is supposed to protect the player from himself.

Rattling off a bunch of stats for a dumbed down offense because he isn't really a NFL QB is ridiculous. Short passes. Pass to first option. No progressions. Glorified run plays. He's not an intellectual powerhouse. He has the playbook on his arm. Really? The guy is frantically flipping the pages of the book on his arm to see the play routes. For Fricks Sake.
