It doesn't. They will try to hide it behind the "It's just a #55 pick, who cares it didn't affect anyone" But Isaiah Thomas was drafted #60 and look at the run he had? Other guys have gotten drafted at the bottom and became solid NBA players. The bottom line is this, there were MANY players who deserved that spot a lot more than Bronny. Period. He got the spot because of his dad, end of story. You are either okay with nepotism, or think it's wrong. It's really quite simple.

For some reason they said lakers are no where near Denver, They just lost KCP and sure there's no movement yet, but their downright trajectory has started since last season they lost the bench and it bite them in the end, because the starting 5 has to cover a lot of minutes more than before and injuries happen. Denver as currently constructed can't be considered as a fav to win the west and yet, Vegas said they are the fav even when the Thunder gets better, Mavs add Klay and Denver losing KCP and not adding bench. More move need to be seen before casting any judgement, people.

Lol, they say Lakers have been bad for a long time but they were just in the WCF a year ago. Had a bunch of supporting help injuries and made the playoffs again this year. The only team that had their number was Denver who has gotten worse in back to back years. A better coach(not saying JJ will be but who knows) and health to our cast and we could have taken that series and OKC, Dallas nor Twolves would have worried me. Yes they need more shooting but to see this hater say it like they failed to make the playoffs the last 5 years is crazy. I wanted Klay, but there is no way possible Dallas is making it again. OKC is nice so they will be better and Twolves issue will always be Rudy, he can be played off the floor and Kat does not want to guard in the paint

Can someone tell me what was the big deal about drafting him with the 55th pick and giving him a chance to develop in the g league? Why was everyone so angry

That’s a good point that first rounder they took is a Baller in the four-point game guy. It’s soaking up all the attention because of his dad the queen.😂

Imagine averaging 4 ppg in HS and 4.8 ppg in college and being drafted to the NBA? Now ESPN is defending Nepotism lmao

Bronny can become a 3 and d player if he works hard for on it, he is not going to be an explosive player like SGA or Ja Morant

Klay is supposed to be a difference maker. If he doesn't think he could help the Lakers make another step, the Warriors knew what they were doing and he's done.

There’s a difference between putting your kids in a position to win and literally handing them opportunities they didn’t earn. We all know what this is don’t dress it up & act like he earned this through hard work and skill.

This is a reason why I’m getting over espn. They get paid to say positive things about the situation. He never worked hard for anything , everything was given to him nothing was earned. He’s not going to have that drive to get better because he’s use to things given to him
