@JedirieFTW that injury was insane, Bo explains how because of the way he was Tackled from behind, he pulled his hip out of the socket and tore and artery. And he just got up and walked it off. JESUS Christ! It's as much a Shame as has ever happened in sports. The Sports World was greatly cheated out of what could have been the first person to go into the football and baseball HOF. Not to mention that Bo is nothing short of being a great person not just athlete. Bo is that rare human, that the stories never need to be embellished and often don't do them justice.

Even with his hip injury he is the greatest athlete ever. He came back, hit home runs and even slid. I couldn’t imagine anyone today undergoing that type of injury and bouncing back doing what he did. Don’t forget Bo is an excellent at archery (with his feet!!) He also plays golf, participates in long biking fundraisers and still plays softball. All in his 50’s with that hip. He’s absolutely incredible
