Neither Alabama or Georgia are each other. Alabama has the regular season success vs UGA but no title since 2017 while Georgia's kryptonite is Saban but has been dominant in the clutch postseason moments.

Joe Sloan, he's the guy that turned a QB that could run into a QB that was a true Dual Threat. He's now been working with Nuss, a coaches son who has been groomed for an NFL career since he was a young kid. Nuss will have probably the best OL In the nation protecting him this season, with elite talent to throw to. Oh, don't forget the running backs to bust into the secondary once those hole are opened up. Remember, the passing opens up the run. LSU's offense will go deep throw in the middle of the field and to the three NFL caliber TE's. I look for LSU to score at least 60 points Sunday.

While I like the pieces on offense and it's potential, I don't think they'll come close to 60 on Sunday even though maybe they'll have that potential at some point in the season, it won't come until much later in the year as I've watched us come out a completely different team in game 1 the past couple years for sure than we were a month later in the season and that's with an offense that we now know had a heisman qb and 2 first round receivers along with a couple of offensive lineman that are going in the 1st barring injury in the upcoming NFL draft and even they were completely out of sync and were unable to produce points in the openers

BK is a great coach. when he got to lsu we had like 24 scholarship players on the roster and he had to rebuild not only the roster, but the culture and everything else. also have had a top 5 recruiting class every year with him and on track to have #1 class in 2025. he’s also done a great job with hiring new coaches. lsu will win a natty sooner than later with BK.

@@GoatedAtNFS I'm picking USC, and I like LSU. I figure USC will be better without Caleb, old boy replacing him seems great and he'll be a perfect system guy for them at QB. And their defense is no worse than LSU's. And LSU has huge offensive question marks, much more so than USC I would say. Namely losing three elite 1st-round draft picks, and definitely not having the quality to replace them. Though Nuss seems like he'll be good....

Speaking of Florida State, a great coach can still put them in the playoff! Look at what Nick Saban did last season after losing to Texas, in the preseason! We don’t know anything about Georgia right now! We know they are top 5, but Alabama exposed The Bulldogs last season with more weapons than they have this season! I believe everyone is jumping the gun on Ohio State! All the same claims were made last year. Is Howard a step up from McCord? If not, then they will be exposed by Michigan, who has a ton of questions themselves, Penn State, or Oregon!

I know you mentioned Boise State as a potential contender for the CFP, but what about Appalachian State who seems to upset teams like Boise State does? Who is the strongest conference in the Group of 5? And who could get into the CFP besides Boise? Because the way I see it, the Sun Belt might have a contender. Deboer even as a PLAYER led his almer mater to their first national championship, then gave them 3 more championships as their head coach. For people who say "it was only the small level", fail to realize that same school hasn't won any national championships since he left (15 yrs ago). And Deboer has won at least 10 games every year at the teams he's coached at besides 2020 when they only played 6 games total. It's gonna be an interesting season
