And Oregon is on a 20 home game winning streak, 29 vs. non-conference opponents. If this were at Provo or even a neutral site game I'd give BYU the edge but coming into Autzen against a Duck team with everything to prove after week one and I just can't see them choking tomorrow. It'll be a one score game I think but the House of Loud will do it's part and give Oregon the edge.

Watched Oregon’s win last week. Lots of mistakes were covered by poor opponents play. Lots of their offensive yards were after contact which can’t be count on against BYU. There were a few bad decisions by Bo that were hidden by a poor secondary. You also see how much Bo was under pressure against an FCS line, that doesn’t bode well against BYU.

If Oregon is playing in Provo, no doubt BYU just walks through even without their top two offensive weapons. Unfortunately, they are playing in Oregon. So far, this is a 50-50 game since it is in Oregon. However, I am also leaning towards BYU for this one because they have a better QB and are more battle-tested. Don't underestimate this BYU defense.

This comment is really seriously based on absolute myth. Fans are constantly believing in mythological forms of superiority. BYU's roster is full of jack rabbits, and frankly has been for decades. What makes this team different is depth, that 3-4 deep the DBs and WR's are all 4.35-4.45 dudes with wings. BYU's DB's greatly limited USF and Baylor's speedy receivers. As for the BYU LB corp, three starters are NFL prospects while Max Tooley who is a bit undersized has NFL talent in every other aspect of the game. These are all 4.46-4.56 dudes that move in space well, cover well, take good angles well, tackle well and hit like freight trains. Backups Tanuvasa and Gangier would be starters at just about every PAC school except possibly Utah this year. Fans that believe BYU is slow clearly do not watch BYU play ball. But you'd think they might at least look at the 50 year record and ask where the Cougars keep all the smoke and mirrors because they are one of the winningest programs of the last 5 decades including 18 double digit winning seasons. Oregon's 12 such seasons have come during the same 5 decades. The ducks have also scored 6 nine win seasons in that same 5 decades time frame...but BYU adds 8 more of those, a total of 26 x /9+ winning seasons in 50 years. As for losing seasons in that 5 decade period (1972-present) BYU suffered 5 losing seasons, Oregon 15. That's 2 /decade for BYU and 3/decade for mighty Oregon. Still, tomorrow's game and history is decided on the field by these current staffs and rosters. That being the case it really boils down to one key factor... ...who has the best Mascot? That has to favor BYU 🐱 hahaha.
