It's 2023. Mike Gundy has been at Oklahoma State for 19 years. Overall record 163-78. Conference record 100-63. One Big XII championship. Bowl record 11-6, including two Fiesta Bowl wins -- only year his Cowboys didn't qualify was his first year as coach. Teams like Gundy's Cowboys are one of the things that make college football so special. They're not heavyweights, and never have been. They've spent a lot of their time in Oklahoma's shadow. But god, they make it fun. You cannot overlook a Gundy-coached team no matter how good you think you are. Shout out to Coach Gundy, one of the all-time greats.

A good coach sticks up for his players when they’ve done nothing wrong. A good coach takes responsibility for his team’s failure. This is a coach with good character.

I watch this from time to time as inspiration and the tone to treat bullies with. So many people on this earth don't know their place around good humans and deserve this kind of a verbal beatdown. Well done coach!

Standing up for one his players and he’s been ridiculed for it ever since. THAT’S ONE OF THE BEST COACHES IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL and OSU should be proud to be associated with him. He worries about his players as people not wins, and he wins anyway. That’s rare folks!

Probably the best rant that was ever given. I said this at work, but my version was “I’m a man, I’m 29!” Everybody automatically knew where I was going and we just all laughed our asses off for a good few minutes.

This is a good man. I bet he’s a great dad who came from good stock. Watching something like this, it’s the sort of moment that makes a wife proud of her husband, his parents proud of their son, and makes kids know that their coach has their back.

It's nice to see the context. I'm 40! Is a funny line but in context it's powerful and spot on. A coach that stood up for me like that would get a lot of heart and loyalty in return. Good job coach
