It's plausible. Tushar was wonderful last season as all-phase pacer who was picking important Powerplay wickets. That kind of thing can help inflate prices in mega auction a lot. Think of Shivam Mavi going for 8+ cr in 2022.

CSK will buy him at a lower price. I don’t know how they do it, but somehow, they always manage to pull it off. It's been the same case in every auction-they consistently get most of the good players at a lower price. Whether it’s luck or their smart strategy, even today, I’m not sure.
