Not to make excuses for Mou, but they practically spent no money and got rid of a good amount of quality players in the summer after having a very convincing performance last season. I doubt they will improve by bringing in a new manager

Check again…. They have the 3rd highest payroll in Serie A and sit in 9th place… HORRIBLE MONEY MANAGEMENT. They signed players who get injured a lot (Dybala?) or are past their prime. Because they spend so much on their payroll they could not bring anyone in the past transfer window. Whose fault is it if they can’t work within their budget??

Asking to be top 5 from the would be reasonable though, especially the attack is really strong and other teams have many injuries as well. However i don't think replacing Mou with DDR will help them.

@@murmor6890 I could agree with that. But even then still they were there not long ago but now have had a drop in form. The issue is yes, the attack is better. But that is not where Mou thrives. He needs a decent defensive line and honestly during the summer transfer window it just weakened. Plus lukaku and dybala are extremely inconsistent

Basically making excuses. How much money did they spend in Mou's first season with Roma again? Let me remind you, 130M Euros. Don't say they didn't spend. They just wasted money on players who got injured or were not that good. Spending NET next to nothing these past two summer doesn't excuse them. They brought in Lukaku, Paredes, N'Dicka, Aouar and Renato Sanches for god's sake. Last year they brought in Belotti, Dybala, Matic, Llorente and Celik. That's 10 players alone.
