PK is the man, I saw him play for Belleville in the OHL when he was teenager, I couldn't believe Montreal traded him after he donated 10 million dollars to the childrens hospital, biggest donation be a Canadian athlete ever. He was also their best player every year he played on the team, other than Price but he was goalie. Some of his one time goals are crazy, one of the best slap shots the league has ever seen.

Biggest issue with the Pens (imo) is the trade for EK65. I’ve felt for 2-3 years that he needed to be bought out by the sharks or just suck it up and finish his career in SJ. Last year he should’ve have won the Norris he was a TERRIBLE Defenseman. The sharks told him “go get points so you have some fake trade value) and he did just that and put up over 100 points which was awesome. However he was a glorified 4th forward most of the time. I’m not saying he was a 7/8th Dman or anything like that but he did not warrant the award nor the trade value and this year shows that. I also do not understand why the Pens went after him (I felt this way all summer and right after the trade so don’t think I’m saying this based on this seasons play). The issue for the pens was too much money locked up in guys who had great primes and are now past their prime (still good players but the cap hit is starting to outweigh the production). Why they gave up what they did for another guy with the same issues as what they already had I’ll never understand. I 100% understand making another push or two with Crosby still here, but I do not understand why they (or anyone) thought EK65 was the answer. I grew up on the hater wagon of the Pens and Crosby (mainly cuz a kid I hated in school was a big fan so taking shots at the pens pissed him off) but as a fan of hockey I’m gutted for Crosby and Pens fans because I don’t see a Fred able way they make it past the 2nd round (if they even get close to it) and idk what they will be able to do in the future of the franchise. If you read all that, thank you for reading my, on break at work venting session and I hope you have a good day💚

Reilly is a fine offensive dman ,but was never a defensive stalwart has the worst plus minus on the team at +1 and Brodie who is a not a scorer has the best with +19. Reilly is hyped by the media pundits who are looking at numbers . Brodie is a more complete dman and has better defensive awareness.

He did mention Tocchet but he said he has a way better team in Vancouver and that's true, everyone was expecting Philly to be bad and no one would of been surprised if they were at the very bottom of the league. The Jack Adams can go to someone in Tortorella's situation, Canucks have Hughes, Pettersson, Miller, the Flyers top 3 scorers are Konecny, Farabee, Couturier. Not even close to the same level of talent, it will be close between the two we will see what happens.

I can’t believe it’s because they didn’t think of it, but I don’t want it to be because ESPN has them behaving differently.
