As a Sens fan, I really disliked PK, especially when he was a rival to Erik Karlsson in his prime, but I have to say, he's a fantastic ambassador for the game & has a fun personality. Marchand was punched!!! Sugar coat it anyway that makes you feel better about that play. Marchand was clearly blindsided by that punch! Why is Marchand out? Because he got punched!!! Such bullshit. Goalie interference? Bennett knew exactly what he was doing. Then scored a goal. Any other regular hockey game, that would have been ruled interference! Fucking Reff gave that game to Florida. Yes the bs were playing horrible. Every play, every call does effect the outcome of any game. So sad!!! Sad day for the NHL.

I don't knwo much about Bennet but I think you have to look at a players history. From the replay it looks like Bennet was just reacting instinctively but his record tells you he has vicious instincts. I would not be opposed to a suspension. Unfortunately for the Bruins Bennet for Marchand is not a good tit for tat. Bennet is not much of a loss for this team, Marchand is devestating. Still with Swayman in net, Boston always has a chance.

I don't agree right away that it was interference because they have to account for whether swayman could have gotten to the puck. I am more tired of how refs call penalties in this game. Call the damn cross checks. It's absolutely insane how cross checks are rarely called and allowed so often in the corner and in front of the goaltender. If Bennet had not crosschecked, most likely he would've been and the refs never call it. The cross check is the only penalty that is bar none intentional. What penalty do they call all the time? Tripping and high sticking, the two penalties that are often unintentional. How many times has a player been called for a tripping when it was just collision? It's the most over called penalty and I get it because its the most difficult to determine intent, soooooo fucking call the one penalty that is clearly intentional.
