Pulisic hasn't had a great season, but he's a fantastic player. Ziyech as well. Mount has been one of the strongest players of the season and Werner is favourite in that left 10 role. Playing without wingers is a little problematic for the squad. Luckily Pulisic and Ziyech can both play 10, it's just a matter of finding time for them.

As I stated, there is no title race. There is only a race for top four among United, Liverpool, Leicester, Chelsea, West Ham, Everton and Spurs. Realistically, I don’t think West Ham and Everton are in a race, but table disagrees with me.

A cynic can look at Chelsea's recent results and teams played, and say that's not much of an improvement from Lampard. But if you actually watch every game played, barring the recent FA cup game., you can see Chelsea is almost always in complete control of the game. Plus, he is achieving all this despite many starting 11 players like Kante, Pulisic, Ziyech, Chillwell, Zouma remaining on the bench. I think there are a lot of positives in Tuchel's start.

Problem for Pulisic is with Tuchel's system, there isn't really a spot for him where someone isn't already doing a great job. What are you going to do replace Mason Mount? Start Pulisic over CHO? Could Pulisic play center forward? IDK.

The only reason Pulisic is not starting is he played predominantly on the left and that's were Werner plays. Clearly been told to play Werner

City fan here. So glad to see Tuchel with Chelsea! It will make the league better. And Chelsea at it’s best surely involves Pulisic as a starter. It has to. He’s so unsettling to opposing defenses and he makes good decisions for his team in the final third. TT needs to get Pulisic involved and let Mount pout in the corner (of the bench).

Question : what do the Chelsea fans think about Ziyech not playing ? I personally think that ziyech would fit in perfectly in the fast offensive play if Tuchel. But, defensively, he lacks stamina and consistent efficient pressing . He presses inefficiently sometimes.

I'm with Frank L. This *should* have been an easy game and it's no great feat to win this one. I do like what Tuchel's doing in the defensive midfield with Kova and the double 6 along with 3 at the back. But the final 3rd the entire 2nd half they were wobbly... didn't know what they wanted to do with the ball etc... Mount ran out of steam, and ideas. So he was pulled. Fine. And we're back to the elephant in the room. I was worried about Tuchel, because though everyone said oh he knows Puli well... no problem. Except that Tuchel benched Pulisic most of his last season at Dortmund too. I mean Tuchel's last season there before he was fired. I was like 'I hope he doesn't do that here'. Sure enough. I'm an American and we're weird like this - Pulisic killed his hamstring trying to score a second goal against Arsenal in the FA final after his first one. *Still* firing as his muscle tore. Chelsea had *nothing* once he was out. Puli gave this freakin *all*; was the player most responsible for Chelsea finishing in the top 4 last year. I think that's worth something. Tuchel clearly doesn't. I spend good money on a streaming service in order to watch Pulisic play. I actually like Liverpool as my first epl team anyway, but I'm dumping that service for another in order to watch a team that values an American player this year at Juve. When either Pulisic goes where he's valued or Tuchel moves on... we'll see.

The difference is that the only goal Tuchel has conceded was an own goal. Under lampard, Chelsea always found themselves either falling behind or choking a lead.

I love pulisic but who does he get in over? In tuchels system I don't see him as a wing back like odoi. He'd have to take Timo or Mounts spot and I just see him as a bit short of those two.

"I'm gonna go" : for real as a fan for a long time there is not one single player from this Chelsea squad i would cry for. So if they are not "happy" then they can go...this would have never happened to Lampard, Terry, Drogba, Ashely Cole and many many others because they were players of incredible quality. None of the players from this squad can demand minutes.
