It is always Martin Odagaard for the Arsenal. He is the architect of their attacking play. He sets their tempo in the final third. Without him, Arsenal might struggle. This was so evident in the 7 games he recently missed for the Gunners. The current table reflects that as well. It looks increasingly likely that Ethan Nwaneri is ready to assume that role during his absence.

Odegaard is our main man, clearly, but we should really get a player who can replace him if he's injured/split time with him if Arteta isn't going to do that with Nwaneri. I know he's trying to blood him in slowly, but we need him to fill in for Odegaard when he's injured or rested. We can then spend on a striker and another winger.

janusz is right, that last goal was big for the squad. players like sterling and nwaneri will see a lot more game time in december/january and that was very good for confidence obviously odegaard coming back is huge, but i'd also like to shout out timber and merino, they were both excellent today
