Great review! I was just wondering, is the Lavazza coffee a dark roast? I read that dark roasted beans are not good for the grinder as the oils stick everywhere and can cause damage to your machine, but I also read that they give you the best flavor for espresso drinks. Do you have any problems using these beans? I also have a Breville machine, but I am confused as what I should use.

This one is medium roast and yes, you're correct dark roasted coffee can leave the grinder a bit oiled. When I used it I had to clean it well in order to use it properly again. I also feel that dark roasted coffee has a bit of bitterness.
